  • Great Job wish that my church still played the organ

  • @addsub1000 Cheers!

  • Ahh, I'm Catholic and we used to always sing this at Mass. It was one of my favourites, but now we don't sing it anymore. :( I guess it's because it doesn't have any personal pronouns in it, so we can't use it to sing about ourselves.

  • @JewelBlueIbanez Thanks.

  • Thanks for uploading this. I help to lead a choir and we also sing it pretty much close to this tempo. We use Laudate hymn book and it has it in key of F. Anyway, it should be flexible to fit the range of the choir...

  • @yamimamimay Thanks for watching.

  • Hello Rob...where in the U.K Do you live ? I am a filmmaker and an Editor. I wish to shoot a few of your performances.

  • I live in Swansea, Gower

  • I love this hymn, too.

One comment... the tempo could be a wee-bit slower and in E major (rather than F in this clip).

I am just a little picky because I am a former organist who love to sing. :)

  • Yeah Thanks the comments.

The Tempo is fine for it needs to be flowing and "not a wee bit slower" I played it at this tempo on Easter Sunday it flowed really well with the congregation.

I've never heard heard this in E Major F Major is more suitable.

    Cheers.

  • Well, in the Hymnal 1982 (one that a lot of Episcopal Church uses), the hymn is in E Major. For the tempo, it suggested to play at about 72 beats per minute.

  • Never Heard of that Hymn Book anyway.

  • Very BEAUTIFUL!!! Thank you for sharing!

  • Your Welcome Thanks for the comment! :-)

  • Wonderful!!!

  • :-D
