This video actually made me sad. It is not us who does the work. Christ did it all, he finished the work on the Cross. It is Christ who lives in us, because of our faith in His sacrifice we are regenerated or Born Again. Once our hearts are regenerated, then He works through us to accomplish 'good works' and causes us to endure to the end.

On our own, there is no way we can produce works pleasing to God or 'choose the right'.

Hello reaganaut1, I appreciate your fair and honest comment, and I understand , what you mean. And many mormons , too, I think. Please let me give you my view of our relationship to Jesus and works: Yes, it is Christ, who lives in us because of our faith, I agree whole. And this Jesus in us has to fight with our weakness, our natural man, and we keep his commandments, as good, we are able and become more and more like him.

Even Jesus Christ had his battle in the desert and many other battles.

If Jesus, who is GOds own son, had his own battles with the devil, are we more than him? We have to learn, we are not perfect, we are weak. What can we do? Only praying is not enough.

The bible tells us so often, what TO DO.

There is no way back to god without our works, even the old apostles knew that and fighted the good fight : 1.Tim. 6:12
