Hi Moe! Well, I keep on playing this silent guitar quite often, but I'm quite focused on improving my sound as guitarist, and this "electronic" sound doesn't help a lot in that task. Therefore I post less videos with this guitar. It is incredible you find me twice, my friend, because there are plenty of guitarists on YT, and I don't have much exposure at all. Wow...simply wow. I am actually quite blown away. First of all, Pavane is by far my favorite classical piece. And I believe that it is at its perfection when played on the guitar.

Off and on I browse through YouTube and other sites for videos of people playing this on the guitar. Needless to say, there's lots. Many are good, many are bad, many many more are simply average.

Yours is, by far, the cleanest and most emotional rendition that I have heard. I instantly favorited this vid.

Thanks Hagal. Well, I just plug the stereo headphones output to a two channel sound card. It is a good card indeed, perhaps that's the difference. It is an old Gina by Echo with 24 sampling rate, 48KHz and with quite high quality connectors, with almost no noise.. Nowadays, a lot of not too expensive sound cards have similar or better performance. I hope this comment to be useful...

I like the arr. even though its not in f sharp minor anymore...a fav key of mine. THE only thing I would change is that high E note played in the first few measures; it's really out of character for the piece and sticks out. Better an octave down; more subtle.

I got sent this arr. few weeks ago from a guy on YouTube named Jesus...

I did an arr of it in orig key 20 years ago for guitar and flute. It sits well on guitar in F sharp min. but after a while I just skipped the middle section; it's just works better edited. But I do miss the orig ending in this arr.
