Thanks a lot, Elaine. Well, it was my first video, so it was not my best rendition whatsoever, and therefore I appreciate your comment even more. Cheers!
haha, read your email mate, I have noticed the change from previous, and one thing, what happen to your guitar in this video? I'm guessing your new video with the different guitar gives more acoustic, that's what I've noticed. I remember listening to this 2 years ago, brilliant guitarist, saw him play on youtube, forgot his name, till one day I've found you channel again haha, great videos, still brilliant. loving your new videos too :)
Hi Moe! Well, I keep on playing this silent guitar quite often, but I'm quite focused on improving my sound as guitarist, and this "electronic" sound doesn't help a lot in that task. Therefore I post less videos with this guitar. It is incredible you find me twice, my friend, because there are plenty of guitarists on YT, and I don't have much exposure at all. Thanks a lot once more for your always kind words. See you!
Very impressed with your emotive playing. Beautiful. I have John Williams version on cd which drew me to your video. But in honesty, I prefer your arrangement. Congratulations.
Kenny - Scotland. P.s. never seen a guitar like your before. Can you tell me which make it is?
Well, it is a compliment in full. Williams plays in a different league, I'm afraid... Regarding the arrangement I'm afraid it is not mine, but I just found it in the Internet when I still didn't make arrangements... Thanks anyway, my friend.
Realmente bonito!
I am French and i like so much to see French music so beautifully arranged and played. Fauré should probably be happy. It would be great if you could post Satie too ! Do you have score ? I will use this in my French lessons :-) Bravo !
It is a pleasure to receive such a positive feedback, thanks a lot. If you want the score just send me a private message with your email address. Au revoire!
Purely Incredible. This is what I listen to actually whenever I'm writing my novel! I heard this song through the orchestra first and it inspired me for a story, but wanted a solely acoustic version that was just as great and glad you decided to present this. Very motivating creatively.
Wow...simply wow. I am actually quite blown away. First of all, Pavane is by far my favorite classical piece. And I believe that it is at its perfection when played on the guitar.
Off and on I browse through YouTube and other sites for videos of people playing this on the guitar. Needless to say, there's lots. Many are good, many are bad, many many more are simply average.
Yours is, by far, the cleanest and most emotional rendition that I have heard. I instantly favorited this vid.
One million thanks for such positive feedback, you've really made my day. My only motivation to play, as well as enjoy the music, is to receive from time to time (less than I'd like, obviously) some comment like yours. You're right, this piece is really magical. Thanks a lot, my friend.
This is the smoothest of all; An excellent rendition of this hauntingly beautiful song. Your fingerwork is exquisite. Sounds and looks like you "put in your time" Thanks for the physical sigh I receive every time I watch.
Thanks a lot, my friend.I suppose there are two reasons for your tears: 1 - It is really a very emotive tune . 2 - My legs. One million thanks for watching
Thanks Hagal. Well, I just plug the stereo headphones output to a two channel sound card. It is a good card indeed, perhaps that's the difference. It is an old Gina by Echo with 24 sampling rate, 48KHz and with quite high quality connectors, with almost no noise.. Nowadays, a lot of not too expensive sound cards have similar or better performance. I hope this comment to be useful...
I like the arr. even though its not in f sharp minor anymore...a fav key of mine. THE only thing I would change is that high E note played in the first few measures; it's really out of character for the piece and sticks out. Better an octave down; more subtle.
Thanks again for the copy you sent me. I'm giving it to my students too and so nice it's tabbed.
Thanks for your comments, Rexicano. However in this case the arr is not mine, I just found it elsewhere in the web (if it were mine I wouldn't play only a part...). I hope you and your students enjoy it like me.
I got sent this arr. few weeks ago from a guy on YouTube named Jesus...
I did an arr of it in orig key 20 years ago for guitar and flute. It sits well on guitar in F sharp min. but after a while I just skipped the middle section; it's just works better edited. But I do miss the orig ending in this arr.
I was that Jesus. I sent you the arr., but I was not the author, I also got it from the Internet. It would be great to watch your arrangement on flute, because this extraordinary melody mixed with the sweetness of a flute may be georgeous. Cheers and thanks for watching and commenting.
Wow, is there any place I can get a score or tab of this. It translates much better to guitar than I ever imagined. one or my favorite choral/orchestra pieces ever. good job.
it's technically not so hard, but your interpretation with feeling is not easy. it's easy to pay but hard to play like you. where can i find the sheet music, i've been looking for it for 2 years
Thanks for that comment, my friend. Well, you're right , it is not complicated at all. But expresivity is always the most difficult part of an instrument, at least I try to pay attention to it as much as possible, and therefore your comment is double valuable to me. Cool :D My dad knows how to play, but he didn't really take any lessons. He learned by himself. I know lots of people who learn the guitar like by themselves. Anyways, Keep Up the good work.

Well, a duet has some advantages, but is very valuable anyway. This is a much more classical version, quite similar to the original piece. I`m very glad you both have liked it.
This piece is greatand your playing is incredible. Great emotion. I printed a version of this piece but I cantell from your video your fingering is different. I'm a novice, but think I couild play this piece. Your fingering looks well thought out. Is it possible to get the tab version and standard notation of this piece. I'd be happy to compensate you. There are so few pieces of music I'm will to spend my time learning, excpet for this one. I'd really appreciate your help.
Thanks a lot for your kind words! I hope to have contributed to make you appreciate a bit more this extraordinary instrument, called "the little orchestra" by Beethoven.
