I never had the chance to see Sean here in the U.K., something I regret. He was obviously a big talent , a bluesman (not an accolade to be given lightly) and a nice person.
I want a Les Paul like this! I know Rusty Zinn plays one; my old friend and mentor Duster Bennett had one. they have a unique tone.
Very nice and mellow. It's slower than the other version of this song which was shot at the living room. (search for sean costello canned heat, it comes up as well).
Totally agree with you on Sean's personality. He played a concert my friend set up in Georgia and called my friend shortly after he left to thank him for the gig and that he'd play anytime he was passing through town. They had spoke about 6 times in the last month and he never mentioned any illness but the word I got is he had trouble with Prostate cancer. He will be missed..... Fantastic performer!
He truly was awesome & so passionate. I was, and am still a huge fan of his work. I get chills everytime I listen to his CD's or watch these videos.

Talk about 'take your time and get it right'...
I love the groove and feel of this.

Hello clemsimage
What does 'evil bless your soul' mean?

Hello guitarandharp
it means that Sean Costello is a really great bluesman!
and i think he certaintly met the devil to play that ;)
And the devil had to bless him, in order to bring him to the "warm land of the died bluesmen"
I was speaking to him by saying "your"
excuse me, i'm french
Is that a good answer to you.
I wouldn't be rude.
