I love the bag...I was successful in making it. I would love to be able to adapt the bag to make it a bigger size. I struggle with modifying patterns though. I am not that talented. Do you have any advice? Have you yourself made it larger?

Ok so I've been making this bag for a few days off and on. Just a suggestion it is always good to let your fellow crafters know how much yarn they will need cause for some reason I needed a tad bit more than one skein. :) I'm enjoying it to the fullest thou!!!!1111

how do you like that crochet hook? i look at them every time i'm at Joanns! I use the bamboo handled hooks, they fit so nice in my hand and I don't tire as easily
@karryant I like the bamboo needles as well have the whole collection but cant seem to find my I hook. I am using a regular I needle and it is killing my hand Im almost finished with my bag thou it was painful but is is looking really good

Phewwwww.... just finish one ^____________^ ' ' and super very happy with the outcome. I can't get the handle but I just can't wait to get it done and I want a longer strap so I can hang it on my shoulder, so I just do a strap with hdc and attached to the bag. Very cute still. Handel tip try it if you like the handels cost a lot you can get some clear plastic tubing, a thin wire what ever color of yarn you are using you can thread it thru the tubing if you like ot keep it clear, drill a hole at end of tube an attach together and attach to the bag .

@shona550 Hi it takes 1 skein of red heart yarn and there is a difference in a ball and skein, it depends on how the yarn is wrolled up. I hope this helps.

how do you like that crochet hook? i look at them every time i'm at Joanns! I use the bamboo handled hooks, they fit so nice in my hand and I don't tire as easily

@karryant I like the bamboo needles as well have the whole collection but cant seem to find my I hook. I am using a regular I needle and it is killing my hand Im almost finished with my bag thou it was painful but is is looking really good

@onevirtuouswoman , I all ready started over with the I hook, I want to do it right like the instructions says, my daughter said nooo mommie, and I said we always want to do the right way for now, until we both learn how this craft works. Sometimes we can do that but only when we know what we are doing!!!...lol

Phewwwww.... just finish one ^____________^ ' ' and super very happy with the outcome. I can't get the handle but I just can't wait to get it done and I want a longer strap so I can hang it on my shoulder, so I just do a strap with hdc and attached to the bag. Very cute still. Handel tip try it if you like the handels cost a lot you can get some clear plastic tubing, a thin wire what ever color of yarn you are using you can thread it thru the tubing if you like ot keep it clear, drill a hole at end of tube an attach together and attach to the bag .

@shona550 Hi it takes 1 skein of red heart yarn and there is a difference in a ball and skein, it depends on how the yarn is wrolled up. I hope this helps.
