nice to see you get a good amt from there but what the hell is up with all those damn flies.. i mean they would bug the hell out of me .. LOL bug.. no pun intended but came out that way..
Is it possible to find gold at higher elevations? I live right next to a forest here, with high cliffs and mountains, and wondered if I should try detecting near the top of the mountain because there was some deforestation going on up there, and the heavy machinery turned up the ground pretty well. Is it worth looking for gold that high up on the mountain????
@boochieboy814 Many of the ancient creeks are now near the top of a current day mountain. Go and have a look at the ground that's there. If there are quartz reefs or old river stones then it may be worth a look. It also helps if you are in a known gold area.
Ive been watching some vids on of us americans finding gold " panning for litle specks of it " and thought that would be fun. Then I came across some vids of you aussies dign up nuggets....now im jealous, lol, best of luck and nice vids :)
I saw your gallery in photobucket and i have to say THATS A LOT OF FRIGGIN GOLD!!!! Where is this? And congrats because a lot of people fail, but you seem to have extra luck hahah
The gold comes from the Northern Territory of Australia near Alice Springs, and Victoria, Australia. This is only a small portion of what I have found. Cheers,
They're using a Minelab GP3500 runs for about $2,500 used, newest version is the GPX4000 it's $4,500 so better start saving or sell that Rolex Submariner you have there on your wrist. ;)
