  • will Protools LE7 run on a 2010 macbook pro??

  • Good tutorial but never choose the desktop as a folder for recording. Use a separate partion, preferably on a differnent hard drive than your system disk resides on.

  • Your the best instructor .. Thankks!!!!

  • this guy rules! definitely the best PT instructor.

  • Very helpful! Thanks

  • some people tell me it will only work if i run it on xp professional is that true.and some people say it should not matter that as long as your pc is windows based it wont make a difference.

  • no any windows and any mac.. but no vista... if u have xp an have pro tools on it u can upgrade to vista but no full instalation

  • can i use my mbox2 on windows media center yes or no and if no why? please, thanks.

  • u can only use digidesign products on digidesign software aka pro tools

  • not on m-powered protools which i have with the m-audio project mix

  • How much can I get pro tools[ the latest one ] for?

  • 75$

  • u sure? cuaz when i checked the price up on ebay it was nothing less than $US300++

hahas but if u got any other info about protools7 pls inform me of it =]

  • pro tools le is 75 for the software but then u have to buy the mbox depending on the one that fits yur style wich run over 175 so yea i guess its pretty expensive if u dont have hook ups

  • so wad ur saying is. .

pro tools le 7 is juz a software? and erm if i need to use those kinda other tools lyk mixer and all that then i will hav to get the mbox which is the expensive one? but the software isnt?

and erm wads the diff if i hav a mbox or not?

  • its realy complicated.. takes lota money. digidesign are ass holes and make u buy everything there way... in other words nothing is compatible with pro tools exept for your computer. the mixer the instruments (some) all that shit u have to buy from digi.. and if u buy the hardware like mixers etc u have to buy a diff pro tools... just google digidesign and it gives u everything

  • alright thanks dude!

  • dude you can go over to musiciansfriend and get pro tools LE with the Mbox 2, An MXL condenser mic, and 2 M-Audio Studio Monitors for 400$ Everything you need.

  • woah! thanks dude =]

  • it was great...

  • it was a great way of showing us how to get strated with pro tools but my only problem was that you used mac os X and im sure that most of us are using windows !!

  • slimand thick....u are not gunna learn to mix and master like a professional over night....u need to take time with it....

it takes time buddy....i dont know what you want me to tell you...but i'll tell u that unfortunately there isnt a 'Generate Perfect Mix' button on ProTools...lol, bet u'd love that wudnt ya?.....music shudnt be rushed ever.... souless, spiritless, pointless unconditioned song/noise is not nice to listen to......

  • listen..this is all about saving big bucks LOL...right soo plzzzzz!!!!! how do u get a great SOUND...when u dont know how to MIX that well....PEOPLE CHARGE SOO MUCH...were dune recording..but we need to save big to push out or first c.d. • Thankyou for the great vid. Im new to protools world and Ive just got my hands on the mbox2 mini. Could you please do a vid that shows how to record electric guitar and how to add effects. Thanks. Dave

  • i hope im not being a pest but could u tell me step by step on how to set everything up please

  • LOL, I hear you. Its a lot of stuff for me, as a beginner. I have learned a bunch of stuff in the last 2 days, this stuff is ridiculously incredible!!

  • yo cud u help me plezse

  • Well hello there Ricky. I can see your problem, but unlike everyone here at youtube, I will give you my best answer if it helps. First you need cables.I know you have a Left and Right audio out-put on your MV-8000. Put your cables into the MV-8000 out-put and run them to your Digi-design M-box Input 2, the left and right in-puts of that. Now you can hook up your mic, and run your M-Audio mic to input 1 of your Digi design box, and wa'lah, your connected.

  • hello i just started producing music. i have a mv-8000 a mbox2 degidesign and a m-audio mic i wanted to know how, if possible to hook everything up so i could start recording
