A lot of people seem to think this is hard to heal, but it's REALLY easy honestly. I was at full mana the entire time as a holy pally.

You just need to be comfortable with everyone's health being low. When you see someone's health low, throw up just ONE heal, then move on until everyone's above 10K. Then when you come in, throw up an AoE heal until you move back out. Very simple and easy.

@purehumanenergy89 Not really, no. My holy shocks and holy lights heal for about 7-8K and cost such little mana that my spirit regens before it can even drop, so after each massacre I just went around Holy Light/Holy Shock/Word Of Glorying up everyone with my beacon of light on the tank.

It's an extremely easy fight for Holy Pally healers.

@Shadow12000 That's one reason for the very large hit point pools. Everyone can take a lot more damage, with the tradeoff being that healing is far more mana-intensive. The idea in Wrath was simply to use whatever heals gave you the most healing per tick, with no consideration for mana cost. So for tank healing, a healer is going to have to make the decision as to whether they want to keep the tank topped off (and overheal) or simply keep him at a decent level and save mana.

@Shadow12000 In Wrath, you HAD to keep the tank topped off, for the reasons you said. Now, a tank can survive a few hits, but getting his health back up to full is going to take a lot of mana. So healing will be less hectic in the sense that it won't be spamming heals as quickly as possible, but it will require healers to actually use their brains and decide which heals work in which situation.

Smart idea as far as I'm concerned.

@NekoSOM Oh yeah, very smart I agree, my comparison in the last comment was more for how to heal the rest of the raid actually, the tank looks like he gets a Gluth debuff so they'll have to have much more healing than the rest of the raid, but just for this fight supposedly. Could be completely wrong as I'm not actually in the beta and this is the only video I've looked at for this fight.

@Shadow12000 No doubt the mechanic with the bot will be key to beating the encounter, as with the new healing considerations, healing everyone to full after Massacre is just going to be impossible over a full fight (plus, I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure most AoE healing is pretty tame now and costs a whole lot of mana). This is a heal check fight, there's no doubt in my mind about that.

@Shadow12000 yes, and this is exactly what they are talking about. Back in Wrath a 1.1 sec cast on my shaman overhealed any dps in my raid. However, in these, the damage is lower, but the healing is also toned down relative to damage.
