Great video! Im an American teacher living in Korea and I did a lesson on Thanksgiving. The students had no idea parades could be like this, since here there are only small, short parades. All 1500 students of mine watched in awe. Thanks for the great material!

I see now that Macy's is having an "Asian American" month now however they still do not have a White persons month. Why is it ok to have a month to celebrate Asian people in America but not White people? Discrimination against Whites is no way to equalize things. I see this in their ads as well in which Whites are represented far less than 70% of the time which is the percentage of Whites in America. Macy's is there something about White people that you do not like?

@lennyb47 White people are not the majority and in fact are less than 10% of the Worlds population with that number getting smaller every year. Non-White foreign countries do not have any kind of month, day or even a second honoring White people you can be sure of that. In fact Whites cannot immigrate to non-White countries because foreign countries such as Japan and India ban Whites from immigrating there. Compare that to U.S. law which has allowed mass non-White immigration.

@lennyb47 I think that I chose not to get over it and my thoughts are not stupid but rather intelligent. If Macy's is going to have an Asian Month why not a White Month? They don't even have a White day or a White second. I think White people should consider these things and ask why the White race is getting such shabby treatment in our own country. The Asian models Macy's likes to use are not even very good and were chosen because of their race not because of their abilities.

Well all I was finally in the Macy's Day Thanksgiving Parade. I was a mailbox. It was awesome.. We had been up all night and had waited so long to be in that parade and all of you made it so worth it. All I can say is everytime I get off that bus when I am visiting New York is "I love this town."

I was one of the cheerleaders too! Cheering with you guys was so much fun! You can be a part of the Varsity Spirit group if you have attended a UCA, NCA, or UDA camp... I think there may be a couple other organizations too, but it is through Mike Miller and Associates.

Jimmy Fallon was the highlight of the whole parade IMO and his song with The Roots was pretty funny. Hopefully I'll be able to make it to New York next year to see the parade in person myself!
