  • @strongman1800 Bees and chipmunks! lol!

  • You've got chipmunks living in ur Mac! LOL

  • ohh.. my HEAD!!11111 that noise!

  • Mine's been making a very similar noise, but coming from the right... What scares me is that the Hard Drive, is on the right side, and I don't believe that any fans are, at least in the 3,1...

  • You sure there's no bee or hamster trapped inside? Co'z it's apple, so naturally rodents (I hear a squeak) and insects will go inside it looking for a fruit.

  • Mine is doing the same thing as we speak.

  • hey make sure that you dont hav a cd in the cd rom. Sometimes your cd rom makes that happen

  • @PlayinThegameIn503: really. you think it could be that? wow, I didn't even think about that. BECAUSE ITS THE FAN!

  • seems like a bird got traped inside.

  • It's barking at you :O

  • its a zoo in there, anyway, try lightly hitting/punching the area where its coming from, its should fix

  • Wow! that's bad!

  • You must have gotten the MouseBook instead of the MacBook. Simple mistake?

  • MACS SUCK!

  • Sounds like you have bees and squirrels in your computer. XD

  • my mac is doing the exact same thing. any info?

  • that makes me suffer just hearing it D: the poor thing!

  • poor macbook :(

  • Wow!!!

    That makes pain to me!!!

A MacBook Pro who doesn't normally work!!

  • chrip

  • wow that sux

  • I had solved this problem on my own. Without going to apple care or replacing the fan. HaAHa. I am so proud of myself.

  • how please tell me!!!!!!! mine is doing it im thinking about unscrewing the bottom

  • sounds like the squirrel was being attacked by the bee!!!!

  • Is it... a bee?

  • Oh come on guys, let's not get excited about broken fans, look at my macbook pro:

    P.s. early 2008

I am doing hardcore video encoding with it and I use SMC fan control at 6000 rpm for hours and hours and hours (6000rpm is max, default is 2000)

And I play GTA 4 for hours and hours and hours and I have Smc fan control running at 6000rpm...

and the bloody fan does not brake!!! I wanna brake it to get a new one within warranty, so that it has a long life...

SMC.fc. works with a trick under Windows!

  • You know they still have this problem? Apple really has to get a better supplier for their fans.

  • my super duper pc iz better homie

  • It's not dyeing, you've got a bloody mouse in it XD

My laptop does that too... but I haven't got the mouse

  • Wow! That's kinda like the famous MacBook Pro "moo!", but on steroids! I'm a MPB owner myself; got mine in May '06. MacBook SLOW, is more like it! Haha! The folks at Apple should be ashamed of themselves if they can't admit what the rest of us know all too well—many MBPs have the same problems: screen whine, the "moo," warping, lid not shutting, "exploding" batteries, etc., not to mention slow video thanks to Apple intentionally underclocking the graphics card.

  • SEXYCOMPUTER

  • what is the fix for this problem?in my brand new mac book i am having the same problem.

  • take it to the apple store and have them replace the machine... force your hand. tell them it is a big/common problem that will not get fixed just by sending it in... show them all the videos on youtube with this same problem. it will work. you will get a new machine. i did. good luck.

  • i think that they were skinning a cat in the background

  • lol thats why i dont buy apple products...

  • It sounds as if a mouse in trapped in your Mac cuz of all the squeaking. :(

  • ouch, u did sumthing to the poor mac it cant just start sounding like that from one time to another, lol, no offence, ppl get angry at truth, XD

  • its funny "JDIDDY27" i did nothing but use my comp normally... i do take "offence" and i dont get mad, i get even.

if you go on the apple discussions page you will find it was a common yet un-announced problem, the mother boards were having. due to heat and the capstan the fan would spin on, was on bending slightly.

if it was your way they never would have replaced the computer.

    some pplz kids :p

  • hey this is the new Macbook pro with motorcycle inside!! yeah I want one

  • Wow! Sound like you have bees and crickets living in there lol :) No offense

  • ah. it's not just mine then. :-)

  • you have a bird and a bees in there

  • god sounds awful 0_0

  • it was the left fan main logic board... and it did it again after the MLB was supposedly replaced. the dumb asses either didnt do it right or didnt do anything at all to solvethe problem.

  • They didn't had to replace the board, but the faulty fan itself.

  • So what was it that died? Did they tell you?

  • that's would've scared the shit out of me. :(

  • that's really odd. I would have shut it off immediately and gone to the Apple store.

  • well if i shut if off i wouldnt have this cool video to share with you now would i? or any documentation that it even happend...

i did take it in. & its since been fixed. 23 days later.

  • what the fuck was this noise????

  • the fan catching on something... and the main logic board dying.

  • omg, I know now how a mac sounds while dieing :P
