I'm thinking of going to the next comic-con, but have never been to one befor. Would it be too difficult to just pay on the day (what it get to packed to let poeple in) since i live relativly close by, or should i play it safe and prebook tickets?
@Sickhumourfactory Its always best to pre book...its £10 i think and that way you can avoid any hassle at the door. Its also good because if there is a particular guest that you want to meet, you can get in early and get a virtual queue ticket before the numbers get too high. The last show i went to i had to wait a few hours to get John Hurt because i arrived an hour after opening. You can never tell which guests are gonna have crazy queues!
Today, I was happening to go to London but wasn't alowed to go to comic con. I didn't see anyone dressed up either.. Well I did but they were workers at shops. And I even got up before five today and caught the early train. Zzz. Looking at this, the last one there are not a lot of people in costumes as I thought there would be! I didnt know you had to pay for autographs but I guess that's why they do it lol!
Bro sorry for the delay! Wow Danny man i wish i was i´d been there!! Awesome Danny what a great company man i was suprised as i saw Dino hehehe very nice ...who knows maybe next year i will meet you there ;) ...thank you for sharing :)
i was there on sat the 9th july my first ever time i been there with my buddys and im gonna go every year from now on and bring like £300 spending money with me instead of £60 i took lol
amazing danny its a shame i couldnt make it.. but if theres one next year im there, would have loved to meet chris lloyd and lea thompson, and corey feldman awsome..
@davefilms345 The most expensive autograph was Lambert (£35) but only because it was his first ever signing which makes it quite rare. Lloyd was £25 but again...how often will you get to meet him? All the others were £15. Id rather pay the extra and know that there will be bigger stars at these events. They were really popular (even at a more expensive price) which was a surprise for the company running the show. So hopefully we can expect some more big guests next year : )
you scored big time with those legends of back to the future signing your stuff. I had to laugh at the comment ýou're still very beautiful'. great vid. Did you go with dino?
@daliman11 I didn't go with Dino but i knew he was going to be there...and we bumped into each other early in the day. Back To The Future was the first live action film i saw at the Cinema (i was 5 years old)....so it was awesome to meet The Doc!
@Bigal1982 Cheers AL...its a shame you missed out on The Doc...personally i think you should be able to buy a ticket online before the event that ensures that you get the autograph you want. He was very slow at signing and the ticket number was passed 1000 on both days! Next time i might buy a gold pass....depending who the guests are : )
@shells075 Feldman is so small...i bumped into him while he was getting a bite to eat and he was half my size! he is about 5ft 5 and must weigh about 8 stone! Been in some classics though!!
@raydvd Glad you enjoyed it Ray..it was a great line up of guests and much bigger than last year! No one told me to stop filming except when i went in to the Christopher Lloyd photo shoot (i was filming on my iphone). I knew Dino was going to be there...we just bumped into each other...it was great meeting him and it made for a better day.
@BeyondtheRealmspage It was a great line up this year (its a fairly new show to London). There was something for everyone. Being a huge Back To The Future fan..meeting Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson was awesome! thanks for watching Jason : )
@breakerskyline I didnt know you had a YouTube channel man!? Sunday was more relaxed...Saturday was crazy! Your display was getting a lot of attention....it was a great spot! It was a pleasure to meet you : )
@S3FNG6 Yeah I might do a couple of days at Frightfest , although there are only a couple of films i want to see. Do you think Del Toro will be there for the premier of Dont Be Afraid Of The Dark? would love to meet him!
I love The Lost Boys....and Feldman had queues for the whole weekend! I think they could get more of The Goonies or The Lost Boys together next time!
@kungfoolai yeah i met up with Dino by accident....we knew we were both going...and it was a funny moment because we recognized each other at the same time! You should go next year mate...just plan where to stay (if your out of london) and keep an eye on who the guests are. Im lucky because Earls Court is only 30 mins drive for me : )
Vivica has a phonetic name, she doesn't like it being pronounced vivisha.
I totally disagree with the fact that you were secretly filming and using a dealer's pass when you weren't actually dealers. it's that sort of thing that makes the real fans who take a virtual ticket and wait for house feel let down.
@Chantelliotots Ok firstly you have a right to disagree with us but we did our fair share of waiting over the weekend and i myself was at the convention very early on both days. Secondly our friend had three dealer passes (which he had paid a lot of money for), and he was only using two... so if you were in our shoes what would you do? The spy cam was just a test and in fact all of the guests were happy for us to film...so i will not be using it next time. Thanks for your comments.
@VegasDannyReturns Not meaning to be rude, but i've attended in the past, i even attended on friday, and to be quite honest i did a heck of a lot of waiting, as all attendees do. but in regards to using a dealer's pass, you've practically lied to crew members to jump queues when there were people who didn't even get signatures because they did the right thing, took a virtual queue ticket, and waited. I know i'm coming off as pushy, but if you were there early, you could easily of got a VQ ticket
Awww man, I actually saw you there! Had no idea what you looked like though, I just happened to recognise you again when I saw this. Great video. I was there on the Saturday, putting my video up soon, would be sweet if you checked it out :)
@peckerdecker Well the most popular names such as Christopher Lloyd, Lambert and Corey Feldman, can make a lot of money in just a couple of days. Lloyd was £25 per signing and he met well over 1000 people ...plus the photoshoot which was £35 (around 400 did that). So its thats not bad for a few hours work. Some of them really enjoy meeting the fans....others just do it for a bit of pocket money.
I was so pleased that I met up with you Danny, as it made the day more enjoyable. Sunday looked a lot les busy, so I think I might go on that day next year. Thanks for putting me in the video, especially when I got Christopher Lloyds sig. I look forward to the next time we meet
@dinolast That was a funny moment when i came out of the photoshoot and spotted you! You were a big help on the day mate. Sunday was much better...a lot less people and easier to get autographs. Im glad we got ours out of the way on saturday though!
great video, I hope to get down to one of the earls court events one year but traveling down from the North East and the cost of the autographs etc make it quite an expensive trip! would have been cool to meet Christopher Lloyd and Christopher Lambert though...and of course the Entertaininator hahaha
@Bobthesub Yeah its not cheap...but if you plan ahead it can be done mate. Im very lucky that i only live about 30 mins by car...and the drive up is nice and clear at the weekend. Its great to meet some of the actors from my childhood films.
@RobotOnLine I guess a Movie/TV car is the ultimate collectible! I was testing the spy cam out but to be honest all of the guests were ok with filming and taking pics...so ill probably not bother with it next time. Meeting The Doc was awesome...
100% gutted !! i asked Dino if he would get me a Christopher Lloyd autograph but he didnt have enough cash ....but seeing Christopher Lambert made me near suicidal .. Shame i could not make the trip down . bit costly getting there from Aberdeen . a really great video Dan . see you both later this year
Beside Corey Feldman was Doug Bradley, I got his autograph :3

The Enterterminator was hilarious !!!
Did they tell you to stop filming at one point ?
They did this to my pal a few years ago at Glasgow SSEC, this really makes me mad cos you pay you money you should be able to film them.
Christopher Lloyd is a genius
