  • or you could just buy a grape for a tener??

  • It seems the grass was pushed to each side after the zero grazer emptied load... why ? Also would the feed passage consumed by the feed barrier moving forward not get dirtied with the cows? Would this not have to be cleaned? A scraper will not clean 100% and so contaminate next feed. Proof of the pudding is that not many Irish farmers have them installed.

  • @Bambinohead1 You are correct in that the grass was moved to each side after it was filled. The passage was very wide and this is how the customer wanted to work. SInce this video was taken the rsj mountings have changed so the passage is now filled in one go. Dirt on the passage is not a major issue due to positiong. This product has been very sucessful for us nationally and internationally and customer feedback has been very positive. If you need any details clarified please contact us.

  • Nice product but how do you get 25% more space for cubicles and 20% savings on concentrates?

  • @friesiancowboy because access is 24/7 cows will not all feed at the same time. You can reduce feeding space to 9" from 24" as feeding is ad lib. (They know there will be food there when they decide to eat.) Grass is cheaper than concentrate, once feed is adlib they will eat more naturally therefore you dont need to feed concentrate.
