I echo Copie0178 in that you should listen to Through the Windowpane, that is a fab album. But I concur with your view. Their sound throughout is so diverse. Its something that I quite like about them, so often bands have a distinctive pattern to their music- it becomes rather repetitive and predictable after a while.

I think they're known and popular to those in the know, but not famous. Most people who are only casually into music have never heard of them. "Red" hasn't set the charts alight anyway (Though I LOVE it).
