  • (Part two) yeah do that too. Godspeed!

    RayKiii

  • Just wonderful. I was just cruising the Wailin' Jennys songs because I like their version of The Parting Glass. Had to make a comment. I don't understand what all the controversy is on this video. It's a beautiful song beautiful sung and your images compliment it very well. I'm not a fundamentalist Christian but didn't find any preach or over religious content. (Yes, I watched it 5 times and plan to post it on FB) You keep making videos you have a real talent for it. And living for Christ Jesus,

  • @raykiii Thank you for your encouraging comment.

  • Beautiful song

  • @lbradleys Thank you.

  • Wow why can't the comments be positive? This song is so beautiful and you're all fighting about the personal opinion of the one who posted it. Just listen to the music. You don't NEED to agree with the discription to like the song. In my opinion theposter can find whatever meaning they want in this that they like. I personally use this song as a strengthener when I have to deal with my ex about our kid. Now I'm positive that's not wat they meant it 4. & they have sang of heaven b4. Let it be ppl

  • @CityLights452 Thank you.

  • @beanscot No, thank YOU for posting this!

  • By the way this is folk not christian music !

    For reference:

Go to their Facebook page, click on info and read...

It doesn't say anything about christian there !

  • @Gabe11801 You're right that they don't market themselves as a Christian group. I enjoy their music tremendously.

  • @Gabe11801 I don't think it's unreasonable for them to apply their own interpretation to the song. Perhaps a disclaimer could help, but I don't think we should be forced to do this every time we have an opinion or creative interpretation. I'd rather it be a conventional norm to prevent a chain of misinterpretations from occurring. v.v

  • @Gabe11801 So? Why do you feel the need to explain that to everyone? It's up to people's interpretations.

  • @666cherrycoke Is just my way to make everyone think about respect for others regardless they believe or not, therefore you're invited to interpret this as my way of saying that preaching is equally disrespectful as blasphemy.

No one has the right to impose others a way of thinking about the world we live in.

    LIBERUM ARBITRIUM

  • I totally love the song since i heard it for the first time; the video, well is not a bad slide show but is is an slide show... Either way i can stand on it but PLEASE DON'T USE IT TO PREACH.

I mean, i have nothing against religions but as i and many other respect your beliefs; please respect our non-beliefs... Specially using such a beautiful song.

  • @Gabe11801 It is a beautiful song. You may want to upload your own version of the song, if this one offends. Jesus is the one I want when the storms come. He is the love for whom I'll open the door.

  • @stonycurtis101 Thank you for commenting. No we don't corner the market and we don't always succeed. Still, I'd rather live for Jesus.

  • Great description for sure!

  • @itsmeaustin07 Thank you.

  • @ladyfrenchfly You're welcome!

  • I just heard this on my public radio station (on the radio show?). I immediately came out here to look for it. Beautiful. Although I certainly respect everyone's right to believe what they wish, I would also like to add that this is sage advice for everyone even when not taken in the context of christianity. Thank you for the awesome song!

  • @Fionnuala1969 You're welcome and thank you for commenting. As for me, I'd rather have Jesus in the storm than anyone else.
