I feel what the characters in the movie were feeling because I too have lost my fiance' 2yrs ago & I couldn't help but realize that everything happens for a reason although we don't know why. I fell in love with this song it is beautiful and gives comfort in a way to those that have lost someone that is so special in our lives.

I watched the movie, "Of Boys and Men" with Robert Townsend, Anfela Bassett, Victoria Rowell & introducing Dante' Boens. What a powerful movie about losing a loved one. The family go through all the emotions of loss, they grow apart & they find their way back to each other. It's a touching movie if you've ever loss a loved one. I cried almost he entire movie because it brought back memories of losing my sister(4-23-04) & it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. You never forget.

Indeed, this song takes me back to my beautiful, studio condo @ 225 St. Paul's Ave. in Jersey City, NJ. I used to listen to it late at night--in the darkness. My life has seen numerous ups and downs since then, but I know that everything happens for a reason. And I'll carry on and push onward. Thank you, Zhane.

I just heard this for the first time on SYTYCD too, and I just had to look it up here. It's really amazing, and I think Noelle's solo was beautiful. If she had gone home after THAT solo, I would've lost faith in the show.

Never heard this song prior to SYTYCD. Again, I want to thank them for the exposure to such beautiful music and dance. Noel did dance her fanny off! If that is the purpose of dancing for your life, then she deserved to stay. What a great song, solo by noel, & what a fantastic show!
