that's nice dude! The whole point is that if you set it up right, the shots are supposed to be easy. Anyone here complaining you didn't have any "hard" shots doesn't know how to play....
@bolton120 He can upload whatever he wants. The video is exactly as it's titled "8-ball pool clearance from break". Unless you don't want to see that, no need to click on the video. It wasn't the hardest run out, but it's still exactly what he said it was.
yeh, its always nice to get an 8-ball, but to be fair they were all there. You didn't need to develop any of them. I don't 8-ball that often myself. once in 10 frames maybe, but i play with a fair few pro's. I'm pretty used to not getting a shot, sometimes for 3/4 frames in a row, apart from my breaks. Gets kind of annoying after a while as im sure you can imagine...
Strange question, recorded a couple of frames tbh......theres always a good chance of me gettin a clearance. I just wanted to see what my break looked like actually.
u run the balls out so so your clearly a good player but i did think u made a meal of the clearance with some dodgy positional shots but then u dont seem to take time to think about ur next shot. im not 1 of these people whos just on here to criticise and slate others i just wana try and give an educated opinion from 1 player to another. i realise ur just messing with your mate down the pool hall but think about taking a bit more time on your shots and who knows we could be watching u on sky .
Not bad mate, you took the shots well, and 2 b fair thats all you can do init, all these idiots on here criticising dnt kno wat they r on about, i bet half of them havent even picked up a queue in their life!!...Gud Vid in my opinion
Good stuff. I just wish I had taken the security footage out of one of the pubs in town (Worcester) when I did the same on a table that played a similar way. Broke off and potted the 8-ball within 45 seconds (possibly quicker).
By the way Max, the break was legit and Doccface is more than welcome to make a choice of colour...
hmm, well played except you did pot a ywllow AND red on break and it would have been other players turn with free ball. and all you needed to do is swap the bottom row red and yellow around to make it the new way to set up. I remember it like this, going from top then left to right.
You did good, any time you Black Ball(run out) someone, its a good feeling,Ive done, and had it done to me,the other day,I got up to 92 balls run in straight pool, only to choke a long table bank,it rattled in the jaws of the pocket, now thats a bummer,Ive been close several times, but not yet,I just got to get my first century during a match, its hard to get that close,I didnt even care that I won,I would rather have lost and got that 100 ball run, than win with 92,Its very very hard, for me, anyway.
Um Max, as the video title says he is playing 8-ball not Blackball which came in 2006. Plus even in blackball you can pot multiple colours of the break, you don't designate until the second shot
Nice clerance, to clear up from the break you need a small amount of luck with the pack breaking up, but after that I didn't see any fluke's so well played mate.
The last yellow would not have dropped on a tighter table and is lucky to drop here.
Also slower tables give you a bigeer margin for error on the run of the cueball as a small fractional change in applied force results in a larger difference in distance travelled by the white, so its easier to run out of position on a quick table.
Having said that, the break lays out all the dots and you connected them up, if not in strict numerical order.
The last yellow is lucky to drop perhaps and would have needed to be developed to guarantee the clearance on a different and tighter table. Also slower tables give you a bigger margin for error as a small difference in pace wont change the angle on the following ball as much as on a quicker table.
But you still potted the balls, and a nice positional shot to the black mae it a pretty tidy clearance, aterall your opponent could do nothing but watch....and swear.
makes me laugh someone does something good having a laugh with his mates and backwards on here comment on shot selection, speed of table, size of balls, direction of wind, attitude of opponent, etc etc fucking pathetic! The blokes made a nice clearance against his mate its fun!have a word with yourselves if you havnt got anything better to do than criticise.Well played mate just sorry that there are more moronic faggots in the world than normal folk.
Good clearance... People comment on luck... but some of it is down to luck on breaks but i bet not everyone who comments can clear up from break... Good on ya...
dude that wasnt a bogus rack, go look up official racking rules of 8-ball... youre one of those retards i meet at the bar that think they know everything when in reality they know jack shit
my point is, yeah ok, it's a good break ,but u got very fortunate with the positioning of your balls. and every shot you had needed no major effort to pot or get positioning on your balls. however, good game. the other player played well lol
u played 2 gd shot 1st the break every ball in position and 2nd was to get position 4 the 7th yellow geddon m8 but it not lyk no 1 neva done that b4 lol
Very nice. I like just having the 2 different colour balls. I've never seen that before. I like that guys comments at the end lol. Also the table seems to play really slow did it?
Only idiots bash this great pool play! Kudos to you mate! I also play pool for kicks, almost every other night, I'm no pro but I know a thing or two, and I say you did an awesome job!
Nice clear , personally I would have went for the one near the top left corner for the 5th , than the one near lower right pocket and leaving the one right middle for the 7th , but thats me :) Good game
The yellows were easy with all of them in the open they were just tap ins. If you had nominated reds then developed a clearence for yourself then its worth putting it on youtube
Your break is perfect. The key to a powerful break off is get as much of the cue through the white as you can.
On your first shot you should have developed the yellow on the cushion. Why? Because it was easy to do. Why play something down the rail when you dont need to?
I can see why people critised your positional play but so what. Its pool. Who needs position.

Hehe, it was about my 5th game on that table and the first time id played pool at that rileys. There were no Snooker tables so I just thought i'd play a bit of pool.
Leave the fuckin guy alone. he made a video and put it on youtube. him n his mate r havin a laugh. jesus dont u people have nothin better to do than search for videos and try to find anything to insult the guys who put it on. fuckin pathetic.
Your havin a laugh dude. White was no where near the corner and also nowhere near going in the middle. In fact it bounced off the side cushion and the yellow cannoned off and went into the pocket. Thats pretty much the way I break all the time. Deep screw half ball. Ok so its not how the "pros" do it but it works for me.
Anyway thanks for your pointless arrogant comment.
LMFAO!!! Of course I do. But i'm not a pro and dont play that often. I was just out with my mate playin a bit of 8-ball. I happen to like smacking the shit out of the rack. If I can clear from it (reasonably often) then alls the better.
Hmm, ok ish, but pretty sure the average pool player on any pool team could clear from there, especially as the pockets look like buckets! Well done anyway I suppose.
hello mate, i just finished a degree during which i played 8 ball pretty much constantly, and at my best i came somewhere close to that standard (i think i only cleared up from the break twice, maybe just the once since i started playing) that last yellow was a tricky shot well taken. well played mate
me and my mates had a tourny yeesterday (16th of sep) and i did the 8-ball run (white wash) in under 2 mins to one of em ^^ was awsome. (also potted one spot and stripe in break).
I cleared the table from break several times as well and I do not consider myself being a good player(not even in amateur level). Everything depends upon the break. If the balls end up in position like in this video it is really not a problem. However, it is nice video anyway.
Lol, cheers mate, wish i was professional level I tell you that but unfortunately I'm a mere amateur. And from break off to the black goin down was 60 seconds ;)
Yeah I know. Im from England and have my own table. For some reason looking at yours the pockets seemed slightly bigger like the american tables. Is it a 7ft x 4ft like mine? Man I really want to get a digital camera. Loads of videos I want to do including filming my own attempt at a clearance. one day.
The pockets are tighter than they look on the video, pretty much standard for this type of table. And the vid was taken with my sony ericsson 2 megpixel camera. No need to go out and spend alot on a digital unless your really serious
yes shit really, only hit a perfect break, controlled the cue ball perfectly held his nerve through 8 balls; all of which while being filmed with all the background noise. stupid idiots should learn what your on about
you know that at pool you don't play against your oponent, it's just you and the balls he could be the best player in the world, if you strike the bundle good and you pot and position perfectly, there's no reason why you shouldn't clear the table and not give him a chance, good play, gg
Fookin ell, sick playing mate. I've been practicing alot lately, still haven't managed to do a full clearence yet though. How long you been playing pal?
Is it me or is that set up wrong for the break? :S

It was an 8-ball clearance. 7 yellows plus the black.
The red on the break is academic and shouldn't be counted.
Thanks tho :)

@likikikikikiki 8 ball clearance = clearing an 8 ball rack.
9 ball clearance.... more commonly known as run out = 9 ball run out.
But.... there are 7 yellows and 1 black.... which equals 8....

Not a textbook clearance, more sort of doodled.

The last yellow is lucky to drop perhaps and would have needed to be developed to guarantee the clearance on a different and tighter table. Also slower tables give you a bigger margin for error as a small difference in pace wont change the angle on the following ball as much as on a quicker table.

Nah mate - break shot was loose, nearly lost the white in the corner and needed a contact with the yellow to keep it out of the middle.
Better to focus on a safe white, you're not gonna impress anyone just bashing the f**k out of the balls.
After all you only need one ball to drop for a break & dish, but you've got to keep the white in play.

LMFAO!!! Of course I do. But i'm not a pro and dont play that often. I was just out with my mate playin a bit of 8-ball. I happen to like smacking the shit out of the rack. If I can clear from it (reasonably often) then alls the better.
Get off your soapbox!.

Hmm, ok ish, but pretty sure the average pool player on any pool team could clear from there, especially as the pockets look like buckets! Well done anyway I suppose.
Tictac1603 4 years ago
Pockets weren't buckets. They were actually pretty tight for an English Pool table.
I agree with you that it wasn't a hard clearance. But its the only one ive got on film and I thought some folks might loke to see it. Cheers

The pockets are HHHHHUUUUUUUGGGGGGEEEEEE! Not gonna argue with you though cos I suspect you are Clark Kent!
Tictac1603 4 years ago
hello mate, i just finished a degree during which i played 8 ball pretty much constantly, and at my best i came somewhere close to that standard (i think i only cleared up from the break twice, maybe just the once since i started playing) that last yellow was a tricky shot well taken. well played mate

me and my mates had a tourny yeesterday (16th of sep) and i did the 8-ball run (white wash) in under 2 mins to one of em ^^ was awsome. (also potted one spot and stripe in break).
jambro18 4 years ago
I cleared the table from break several times as well and I do not consider myself being a good player(not even in amateur level). Everything depends upon the break. If the balls end up in position like in this video it is really not a problem. However, it is nice video anyway.

absolutely fun-tastic ;-)

lol you cleared the table in 1:15, that takes some skill! You play like a professional and make it look easy 5/5
dan92dan 4 years ago 2
Lol, cheers mate, wish i was professional level I tell you that but unfortunately I'm a mere amateur. And from break off to the black goin down was 60 seconds ;)

Yeah I know. Im from England and have my own table. For some reason looking at yours the pockets seemed slightly bigger like the american tables. Is it a 7ft x 4ft like mine? Man I really want to get a digital camera. Loads of videos I want to do including filming my own attempt at a clearance. one day.
kellyfortune 4 years ago
The pockets are tighter than they look on the video, pretty much standard for this type of table. And the vid was taken with my sony ericsson 2 megpixel camera. No need to go out and spend alot on a digital unless your really serious
doccface 4 years ago
Is that an american style pool table. Couldn't tell. Well played though. I've cleared from the break a number of times myself. its awesome.
kellyfortune 4 years ago
Nah, English eight ball table. A wee bit smaller than american..quite a bit smaller actually. Pockets are tighter as well.

lets see someone playing 1 handed without resting the cue on the cushion and potting all 15 balls. You have 1 week.

very nice... hopefully, i can do this as well some day :-)
summ22 4 years ago
yes shit really, only hit a perfect break, controlled the cue ball perfectly held his nerve through 8 balls; all of which while being filmed with all the background noise. stupid idiots should learn what your on about
chrisharvey9 4 years ago
to be fair you only played one god shot then: yellow to black. gg

Id like to give ya a game, need a worthy opponent lol, gd clear up always hepls when it on video too:)
philicom 4 years ago
you know that at pool you don't play against your oponent, it's just you and the balls he could be the best player in the world, if you strike the bundle good and you pot and position perfectly, there's no reason why you shouldn't clear the table and not give him a chance, good play, gg

Fookin ell, sick playing mate. I've been practicing alot lately, still haven't managed to do a full clearence yet though. How long you been playing pal?
ComfortablyNumbed 4 years ago
