  • Is it me or is that set up wrong for the break? :S

  • @leighhills1

No, its the old school way. I dont like the set up that came along after this one.

  • @doccface oh ohkay haha. good job anyway :P

  • Actually, it was a 9 ball clearance, but nice work.

  • @likikikikikiki

It was an 8-ball clearance. 7 yellows plus the black.

The red on the break is academic and shouldn't be counted.

    Thanks tho :)

  • @likikikikikiki 8 ball clearance = clearing an 8 ball rack.

9 ball clearance.... more commonly known as run out = 9 ball run out.

But.... there are 7 yellows and 1 black.... which equals 8....

  • LOL look at the pros play, they never have any hard shots. Do you know why? POSITION! nice vid

  • be honest it is NOT hard at all....but i can say well play

  • Good break and clear! As for the guy who said there was no point of uploading, probably never played pool before!!!

  • that's nice dude! The whole point is that if you set it up right, the shots are supposed to be easy. Anyone here complaining you didn't have any "hard" shots doesn't know how to play....

  • Chuzabolas

  • This 8ball was so easy the break went really nice for you, i could of got this with my weaker hand. I play for lancashire county.

No point of uploading dude, unless it was an 8ball from all recovery pots then fair enough......

  • @bolton120

    Jog on man

  • @doccface That guy is obviously a gay or single man, who needs t get out more.

  • @bolton120 He can upload whatever he wants. The video is exactly as it's titled "8-ball pool clearance from break". Unless you don't want to see that, no need to click on the video. It wasn't the hardest run out, but it's still exactly what he said it was.

  • Nice !!!

  • goooooooooood!!!!

  • nice one

i got a table in my living room, try pot all 14 balls and the black last without missing a ball. i done it a couple of times

  • Mary's...

  • yeh, its always nice to get an 8-ball, but to be fair they were all there. You didn't need to develop any of them. I don't 8-ball that often myself. once in 10 frames maybe, but i play with a fair few pro's. I'm pretty used to not getting a shot, sometimes for 3/4 frames in a row, apart from my breaks. Gets kind of annoying after a while as im sure you can imagine...

  • good stuff, i was playing my dad and i always seem to choke on the black lol, its always a piss easy shot aswell

  • I wonder if your mate has heard of the 7 ball rule?

  • the 7ball rule is a myth or for none players really, other wise there would be alot of nude people running round my table!!

  • u only had 2 make 1 decent shot (on ur last yellow) how long wer u recording & how many frames did u have 2 play?

  • Strange question, recorded a couple of frames tbh......theres always a good chance of me gettin a clearance. I just wanted to see what my break looked like actually.

  • u run the balls out so so your clearly a good player but i did think u made a meal of the clearance with some dodgy positional shots but then u dont seem to take time to think about ur next shot. im not 1 of these people whos just on here to criticise and slate others i just wana try and give an educated opinion from 1 player to another. i realise ur just messing with your mate down the pool hall but think about taking a bit more time on your shots and who knows we could be watching u on sky .

  • holy.. dam man ur good, i go round to play pool at a mates just for fun, to see some1 clear the table without giving his opponent a hit.. nice stuff.

  • Your good clearly but on a full size table, you may be less likely to manage a clearence from break. taking nothing away from your achievment :)

  • Thanks.

Full size table? Are you talking american pool table here? I find it easier to clear on an american pool table than I do this size.

This is a full size 8-ball pool table.

  • omg you would be great in a bar playing for drinks or food.

  • lol

  • Not bad mate, you took the shots well, and 2 b fair thats all you can do init, all these idiots on here criticising dnt kno wat they r on about, i bet half of them havent even picked up a queue in their life!!...Gud Vid in my opinion

  • Sweet clearance Doc, ignore the other morons on here that have nothing better to do than try and knock random people they dont know.

  • max :L god this made me laugh

  • he play good

  • ive done this

  • Good stuff. I just wish I had taken the security footage out of one of the pubs in town (Worcester) when I did the same on a table that played a similar way. Broke off and potted the 8-ball within 45 seconds (possibly quicker).

By the way Max, the break was legit and Doccface is more than welcome to make a choice of colour...

  • nah hes probably askin cause hes like 40 and is startin 2 get realy desprit

  • really good

go to my page and check out my pool trick shots

  • max have you ever played pool before how the fuck was that a foul break !!! haha lol nice dish thou but yeah quite a slow table

  • hmm, well played except you did pot a ywllow AND red on break and it would have been other players turn with free ball. and all you needed to do is swap the bottom row red and yellow around to make it the new way to set up. I remember it like this, going from top then left to right.

red, yellow, red, red, black, yellow, yellow, red, yellow, red, red, yellow, yellow, red, yellow.

Anyway, well played, would love to give you a game.

    The Max.

  • Are you saying the break was a foul?!?!

I beg to differ. The break was legit and I'm allowed to choose qhich colour I want.

I dont play new rules as I dont know them. I hadnt played for quite some time before this session.

    Thanks for watching.

  • You did good, any time you Black Ball(run out) someone, its a good feeling,Ive done, and had it done to me,the other day,I got up to 92 balls run in straight pool, only to choke a long table bank,it rattled in the jaws of the pocket, now thats a bummer,Ive been close several times, but not yet,I just got to get my first century during a match, its hard to get that close,I didnt even care that I won,I would rather have lost and got that 100 ball run, than win with 92,Its very very hard, for me, anyway.

  • namtrip, knowing alot about snooker and pool and playing them both at a good level, reading your comment is very funny.

  • Even if you don't pot anything you still call a colur, only the break is it an open table.

  • Um Max, as the video title says he is playing 8-ball not Blackball which came in 2006. Plus even in blackball you can pot multiple colours of the break, you don't designate until the second shot

  • Wow thats a Small Table...

And Even that had Spots for Snooker game :D:D

  • well done. slow table though dont you think? the pockets are bags too lol but still, good clearance mate :) would love to give you a game!

  • to be fair the pockets are huge, but its not bad

  • Nice clerance, to clear up from the break you need a small amount of luck with the pack breaking up, but after that I didn't see any fluke's so well played mate.

  • wow.. way to go *thumbs up*

  • gd dish, but dont you play the world rules? coz the da way u set em up is da old way to do it

  • Indeed, im old school :)

    Cheers

  • id play for for 500 but u need to save your giros up 1st

  • You think?

Its comments like that which make you look like even more of a special needs window licker type.

You know absolutely nothing of what my profession is. I've never cashed a giro in my life silly cunt.

Once again, post a video of yourself playing pool and at least deliver us some proof that you are Mark Selby in disguise.

Any further ridiculous comments on my video will be vetted. So dont waste your time unless you have something constructive to say.

    You Tit

  • thecannonball would eat you, your not a good player atall, not with those chioces of shots

  • Pull yer heed in ya fuckin plum.

Big words from a wee fanny behind his keyboard.

Post a video of your emmense skills if you want be creditable.

  • he made all of his shots didn;y he?

  • nice one! :D

  • lol u really lost the game...you didnt name your pocket on black lol :P....nice shooting tho

  • Nice break man.

    You're a good player.

    :)

  • The last yellow would not have dropped on a tighter table and is lucky to drop here.

Also slower tables give you a bigeer margin for error on the run of the cueball as a small fractional change in applied force results in a larger difference in distance travelled by the white, so its easier to run out of position on a quick table.

Having said that, the break lays out all the dots and you connected them up, if not in strict numerical order.

Not a textbook clearance, more sort of doodled.

  • The last yellow is lucky to drop perhaps and would have needed to be developed to guarantee the clearance on a different and tighter table. Also slower tables give you a bigger margin for error as a small difference in pace wont change the angle on the following ball as much as on a quicker table.

But you still potted the balls, and a nice positional shot to the black mae it a pretty tidy clearance, aterall your opponent could do nothing but watch....and swear.

  • Nice out, table does look slow, which makes the break VERY impressive indeed. Well done.

  • keen, all in the break mate

  • sound that

  • bit of a shit table mind you!

  • The tables were newly put into Rileys. So they were in good nick.

  • just seems very slow

  • And slow means shit??

  • no but faster ones are better

  • no1 messes with Rileys! :@

  • makes me laugh someone does something good having a laugh with his mates and backwards on here comment on shot selection, speed of table, size of balls, direction of wind, attitude of opponent, etc etc fucking pathetic! The blokes made a nice clearance against his mate its fun!have a word with yourselves if you havnt got anything better to do than criticise.Well played mate just sorry that there are more moronic faggots in the world than normal folk.

  • Cheers mate :)

  • not bad pal

  • the balls werent that hard 2 pot.

  • Oh dear, yet another internet critic.

If you're going to say something , make sure it is constructive and worth reading.

    Cretin

  • Good clearance... People comment on luck... but some of it is down to luck on breaks but i bet not everyone who comments can clear up from break... Good on ya...

  • bougas rack...were im from u have 2 rack stripe then solid u jus threw the balls in the rack for the bougas win

  • I hope they can understand you better "were ur from"

Bougas!?!? Ok then, bye bye now

  • dude that wasnt a bogus rack, go look up official racking rules of 8-ball... youre one of those retards i meet at the bar that think they know everything when in reality they know jack shit

  • well done dude.

  • Haha "Youre a cunt"

  • NICE!!

  • looks like a very slow table.. nice clear =)

  • nee

  • hahaha nice docco face

  • my point is, yeah ok, it's a good break ,but u got very fortunate with the positioning of your balls. and every shot you had needed no major effort to pot or get positioning on your balls. however, good game. the other player played well lol

  • dude if u watched he sets himself up for every shot

  • i totally agree,any1 cud have cleared those balls up,i wasnt dissing him,gud clearance!!!

  • Anyone?!?! I find that tricky to believe. Not the hardest clearence in the world by a long shot but its hardly something "anyone" could do.

  • if ur a decent player u cud.

  • watch the way the yellow off the break goes in. without that, that break probably wouldn't of happened. lucky.

  • It would have actually, as it would have sat over the pocket and i'd have nominated yellows. Anyway...whats your point caller?

  • cudnt get a more lucky break cud ya?

  • Nope, it was a pretty sweet break :)

  • you could get a train in they pockets.

  • And possibly.....through your ears as well silly cunt

  • nice did you make him run around the table with his trousers round his ankles (northern rule 12:3)

  • LOL!

I dont that to a guy at a pub comp once. The rull was he had to whip the tweeds down and race to the door of the pub in a penguin like fashion.

  • u played 2 gd shot 1st the break every ball in position and 2nd was to get position 4 the 7th yellow geddon m8 but it not lyk no 1 neva done that b4 lol

  • You Lucky Cunt HaHa Wouldnt Like To Bet Against You lol

  • Very nice. I like just having the 2 different colour balls. I've never seen that before. I like that guys comments at the end lol. Also the table seems to play really slow did it?

  • the yellow and red balls are involved with european 8 ball.

  • well done mate, you are a good player. but it looks like an easy table to clear up on.

  • decent clearence

    very nice break

  • Only idiots bash this great pool play! Kudos to you mate! I also play pool for kicks, almost every other night, I'm no pro but I know a thing or two, and I say you did an awesome job!

  • gay comment

  • Nice clear , personally I would have went for the one near the top left corner for the 5th , than the one near lower right pocket and leaving the one right middle for the 7th , but thats me :) Good game

  • What's with all the negative comments? The guy cleared the table, you jealous wankers.

  • The yellows were easy with all of them in the open they were just tap ins. If you had nominated reds then developed a clearence for yourself then its worth putting it on youtube

  • Only a window licker would nominate reds.

And judging by your pointless post, it seems window licking is high on your past time list.

    Fuck off.

  • lol, window licker. i dont hear that expression anywhere near enough. good clearance dude.

  • +1 for great reply.

  • LMAO!!!!!

    Window licker!

    Great clearance (Y)

  • Your break is perfect. The key to a powerful break off is get as much of the cue through the white as you can.

On your first shot you should have developed the yellow on the cushion. Why? Because it was easy to do. Why play something down the rail when you dont need to?

I can see why people critised your positional play but so what. Its pool. Who needs position.

  • that was crap, you need to learn to play positional shots mate, on all of the shots you never left the white ball in proper position to make life easier. Once you have learned how to play proper positional pool start posting more vids.

  • Pull yer heed in ya fuckin plum.

Come back when you have at least a small idea of what the fuck you are talking about.

Which shots were "poorly positioned"? I count 1 (the 4th). All the others were pretty sound positional shots.

If you can tell me a better way to clear those yellows then please feel free to elaborate.

You should be embarassed making a comment like that.

    Tit

  • the bloke's a fucking retard

    nicely cleared

who the hell can say it was bad positioning when you potted every ball, fucking hell. if you missed a shot then sure, it's bad positioning and bad execution; but you didn't miss a thing.

  • @perception03 A good player makes it look easy.

  • HAHAH nice ill never play with you mate ill try and break your hand or somthing to get a win lol nice 1

  • The cloth looks slow as mud! The player obviously knew the table well and knew he could trust the pockets, otherwise I'd have thought he might have tried to develop the yellow of the cushion- nice clearance tho!

  • Hehe, it was about my 5th game on that table and the first time id played pool at that rileys. There were no Snooker tables so I just thought i'd play a bit of pool.

    Thanks.

  • And what possible need is there for developing the yellow near the cushion? The clearance was as straightforward as they come.

  • Leave the fuckin guy alone. he made a video and put it on youtube. him n his mate r havin a laugh. jesus dont u people have nothin better to do than search for videos and try to find anything to insult the guys who put it on. fuckin pathetic.

  • went for all the easy ones

  • ??? What the.... Look at the position. Red were unplayable. What would you suggest i go for?

  • Yes, ... A solid break. (Which makes for an easier run-out.) Keep it up!

  • you gotta respect the break shot, nice.

  • Nah mate - break shot was loose, nearly lost the white in the corner and needed a contact with the yellow to keep it out of the middle.

Better to focus on a safe white, you're not gonna impress anyone just bashing the f**k out of the balls.

After all you only need one ball to drop for a break & dish, but you've got to keep the white in play.

  • Your havin a laugh dude. White was no where near the corner and also nowhere near going in the middle. In fact it bounced off the side cushion and the yellow cannoned off and went into the pocket. Thats pretty much the way I break all the time. Deep screw half ball. Ok so its not how the "pros" do it but it works for me.

Anyway thanks for your pointless arrogant comment.

    Much appreciated.

  • don't you think there's a reason why the pro's break differently?

  • LMFAO!!! Of course I do. But i'm not a pro and dont play that often. I was just out with my mate playin a bit of 8-ball. I happen to like smacking the shit out of the rack. If I can clear from it (reasonably often) then alls the better.

    Get off your soapbox!.

  • Hmm, ok ish, but pretty sure the average pool player on any pool team could clear from there, especially as the pockets look like buckets! Well done anyway I suppose.

  • Pockets weren't buckets. They were actually pretty tight for an English Pool table.

I agree with you that it wasn't a hard clearance. But its the only one ive got on film and I thought some folks might loke to see it. Cheers

  • The pockets are HHHHHUUUUUUUGGGGGGEEEEEE! Not gonna argue with you though cos I suspect you are Clark Kent!

  • hello mate, i just finished a degree during which i played 8 ball pretty much constantly, and at my best i came somewhere close to that standard (i think i only cleared up from the break twice, maybe just the once since i started playing) that last yellow was a tricky shot well taken. well played mate

  • Thanks dude :)

  • You want to play with me ?? i am junior champion of france of pool

  • Yeh i miss read and when i re-read it youtube was lagging too fuck, couldn't reply or edit sorry. Still not a bad clearance.

  • no brain

  • Thanks for letting us know about your problem. Dont think a youtube pool video is the right place for it tho.

  • fantastic mm888 jus fantastic

  • VERY NICE M8 ;)

  • not very hard tbh nice split strieght forward potting very low skill shown tbh 5/10 wanna c real pool come 2 the home of it in yorkshire ;)

  • me and my mates had a tourny yeesterday (16th of sep) and i did the 8-ball run (white wash) in under 2 mins to one of em ^^ was awsome. (also potted one spot and stripe in break).

  • I cleared the table from break several times as well and I do not consider myself being a good player(not even in amateur level). Everything depends upon the break. If the balls end up in position like in this video it is really not a problem. However, it is nice video anyway.

  • absolutely fun-tastic ;-)

  • lol you cleared the table in 1:15, that takes some skill! You play like a professional and make it look easy 5/5

  • Lol, cheers mate, wish i was professional level I tell you that but unfortunately I'm a mere amateur. And from break off to the black goin down was 60 seconds ;)

  • check my video but no dissing for the red :( lol

  • ncie video man fuck all the people that say its shit

  • wow dude ur amazing.....running the balls on a bar sized table....mabey u should get a cookie a somthin

  • Yes please! I love cookies.

2 negative comments in a row. This is excellent.

  • that was the easiest clearance ever

  • Ooh, arent we Mr Smart Mouth. I never said it wasnt easy.

  • Fantasic Mate And Only The Best Players Make It Look Easy

  • TYVM :)

  • i did that tuesday night for the first time ever!! such a good feeling.. i was well impressed wiv myself lol

  • Yeah I know. Im from England and have my own table. For some reason looking at yours the pockets seemed slightly bigger like the american tables. Is it a 7ft x 4ft like mine? Man I really want to get a digital camera. Loads of videos I want to do including filming my own attempt at a clearance. one day.

  • The pockets are tighter than they look on the video, pretty much standard for this type of table. And the vid was taken with my sony ericsson 2 megpixel camera. No need to go out and spend alot on a digital unless your really serious

  • Is that an american style pool table. Couldn't tell. Well played though. I've cleared from the break a number of times myself. its awesome.

  • Nah, English eight ball table. A wee bit smaller than american..quite a bit smaller actually. Pockets are tighter as well.

  • lets see someone playing 1 handed without resting the cue on the cushion and potting all 15 balls. You have 1 week.

  • Nice Break - Did you use the European Master Rack?

  • You're tha man Docco!

    Well played;)

  • very nice... hopefully, i can do this as well some day :-)

  • yes shit really, only hit a perfect break, controlled the cue ball perfectly held his nerve through 8 balls; all of which while being filmed with all the background noise. stupid idiots should learn what your on about

  • to be fair you only played one god shot then: yellow to black. gg

  • Id like to give ya a game, need a worthy opponent lol, gd clear up always hepls when it on video too:)

  • you know that at pool you don't play against your oponent, it's just you and the balls he could be the best player in the world, if you strike the bundle good and you pot and position perfectly, there's no reason why you shouldn't clear the table and not give him a chance, good play, gg

  • Fookin ell, sick playing mate. I've been practicing alot lately, still haven't managed to do a full clearence yet though. How long you been playing pal?

  • Been playin on and off for years, Never competitively tho. I basically play when i'm in a pub that has a pool table and no table hoggers.

  • good clear up lad. got a good break tho. kinda helped
