  • i agree with you scare tactics are never good.

  • AMEN!!

  • Everyone Is already Saved but a person can lose their Salvation by supporting the nazi government of satan the devil as churches as southern Baptist do they believe Romans 13 Is talking about king herod being a Ruler and they believe Acts chapter 12 Is In The old Testament because God Jesus No more pours out wrath on evil politicians & they don't believe their nazi government set up September 11 2001 TulsaTruth. ORG

  • baptism is only an outward show of in inward change. It is something that we do as a byproduct of salvation. But the Bible only says that we have to confess and believe Rom. 10:9.

check out georgetylertv this guy is the truth.

  • you've given some wonderful words of wisdom. If you come to the Lord out of fear, you won't stay when the storms of life come through. when you mature in the Lord, you want to serve Him because you love Him and because He first loved you; then you'll weather the storm. It's with love and kindness have I drawn thee; not with scare tactics have i drawn thee.

Ashley, read your bible, pray (talk to) God and ask for His guidance. When you seek truth, you shall find it. good vid be blessed

  • so what happened to the thief by Jesus' side on the cross?? He didn't get baptized and He went straight to paradise people...Man!! Baptism does not save. Baptism is the public demonstration of our love and compromise towards God, and we do it as Jesus did it when He started His ministry. Just as the wedding is the public demonstration of our love towards our fiancee.

  • AmenBBHunter!!!

  • I guess I'm the only one who doesn't here the audio on this.

  • nope

  • Funny I am doing a series on this this week on my Channel! All God's children must be on same page!

  • EXACTLY!!! Do that series and I'll definitely be watching. :-)

  • OMG! Get a life Tube is not a place for religion.............

  • She can do what ever she wants on HER channel!!! Don't watch!

  • 1. Water baptism doesn't save.

    2. Discussing hell is necessary to understand the grace of God through Jesus Christ.

    3. Age of majority? What is that???? Where are all these rules about baptism coming from? verses?

    4. Why should anyone fall in love with Jesus?

    5. We can't trust our insides/hearts. "The heart is deceitful...above ALL things..who can know it???" Jeremiah 17:9

    6. Christ is definitely merciful and worthy of praise! Soli Deo Gloria!

  • christians are still scaring people to heaven?

Don't they know that jesus never existed??

Thats all you needed to tell the little girl

  • Oh yeah, my mom was told that the path to hell was lined with the skulls of unbaptized children. She was so scared that she had me baptized when I was only a couple months old. I do not believe a person should be baptized until they are old enough to decide. Luckily my mom realized that was wrong by the time I was old enough to decide for myself and told her I was not a Christian.

  • I totally agree.

Baptism is an act of obdience. You are doing it because you have already accepted Jesus into your heart as your personal savior. The act of baptism alone DOES NOT save your soul.

The most important thing is that you have a relationship with God.

  • star23j: Amen!

  • Girl, I couldn't have said it better!!!!

  • Great advice. I was basically raised in the church. When I was about 12 I figured that I might as well get baptized. I never had anyone sit down with me and tell me about the "new life" that I was heading towards. I loved Jesus (still do) and I thought it was the right thing to do. Then I heard that I would no longer be able to hang out and watch certain things because I'm supposed to live "this new life". I was so hurt. I ended up rebelling..horribly.

  • You gave good advice.. You cannot be forced.. You need to have a personal relationship. And you have to understand the word...

  • AMEN! I love me some Jesus!!!

  • Amen! to this video!!

  • Applause :0)

    xxxJoolsxxx

  • I totally agree with you and also they should get baptised when I think they will totally understand why there doing it. I got my son bap. when he was like 4 because I was doing it too at say 24 and alot of ppl said he didnt even understand that and that was true I believe. Also yes I hate when parents cram things down kids throat only because thats what they are kids need to have there own desisions on who they want to believe not out of forcing and being scared. nice vid god bless you.

  • I totally agree. My mom always tries to tell me she wants to save my soul and that is why she tries to force me to believe what she believes. But, you make a great point when u say i should love god not love him out of fear of his wrath. I wish most people thought this way. I love god, but my personal relationship with god is no one's busniness but mine. When i am ready to accept organized religion and rituals into my life I will but not because someone else forces me to. Great vid!

  • brittina923: Yahshua's Body or Church, is not an organization, nor does it consist of any rituals. We are a living organism, full of the Holy Spirit. We operate under the Power of Yah. We live, move, breathe and have our being in Him. Baptism is NOT a ritual, as some might believe it to be, but it is a command from Yahshua, (Mark 16:15-16).....

  • ...Baptism is a WORK, which identifies that one is ALREADY a believer. We often times do this in public as did Yahshua, though a public baptism is not necessary. WORKS come after salvation and not before. So we cannot be a braggart, about how we were saved, because we were baptized. Hope you understand. Yah bless you.

  • I do understand what you are saying but I don't agree with you. However, that is the amazing thing about this world; we can chose to believe what we wish to believe and no feel ashamed to do so. I believe in and accept Jesus Christ as my lord and savior, however I believe in a personal and spiritual relationship with the lord. I don't feel that I need the influence of others to tell me what is right or what is wrong which is why i don't include others into my worship and i don't wish...

  • continued...

to involve myself in that sort of thing because I do think it is an organization and i do think baptism is a ritual. I'm a non traditional "christian" in that way, i guess. Does that mean i think it is bad? Not at all, but everything is not for everyone. Does that make me less of a christian? perhaps by religious standards, but that is why i am more of a spiritualist than a religious person, i suppose.

  • Amen!

  • Plus my whole family was baptised that way, just on the head...and I trust the ones that have pasted away all went to Heaven!

and mama's right trust and love the Lord and listen to your heart=)

cause I know how you feel hun

  • This video was really good!

now I was scared into religion too. most of My family is Methodist. some are Catholic. So I was baptised as a young baby on my head, with water, not my whole body though. Then I went to a Baptist church for a will...go figure lol

But that church at least, scared me when they said if I wasn't completely submerged, it didn't work. I was raised differently than them so I didn't know what to believe. still don't completely know. just don't be scared into anything!

  • I agree. Ashlee, I know what it feels like when people say things that they should never say; there's I agree seek Jesus, now for me and according to the Scrptures Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation through Him we are set, through Him we can discard foolishness. I really am sorry that people teach a punishment.... Versus the freedom that we have in Christ. That important; when learn things the right way the"word" is easier to understand. I pray you all in His name!

  • u look very nice in this video, ur makeup is gorgeous...keep up the good work!!

  • That is so true! Even the Christian Bible says "perfect love casts out fear" so there you are! Wonderful advice!

  • Oh, I think it is terrible that this is happening. I believe everyone should be God fearing people, but we cannot scare young people or those of any age about going to hell. We need to live by example and show them that we are not people out to scare others. We want to show them the peace, the joy and the wonderful feeling of knowing that no matter how bad things seem, God is with you and has his arms around you at all times. No perfect woman here, but was raised as a Christian. Never baptized.

  • AMEN .. Very well said .. I love you ...Travis

  • I think that it was really important that you said we need to have a deep respect for GOD. A lot of people fear Him and that pushes them away, but when you have such a deep respect for God and all that he has done, your relationship with Him grows extremely deep. That was a wonderful way of putting it Barstowmama!!!

  • stop by to show some love!

  • you are right bout that I dont like folks that tell me I am goin to hell I feel they should go if they are tryin to put me there

  • Ashley, if you are not ready don't do it.

    John 4:23

"true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him." Also remember the theif on the cross was not baptized and he went to heaven. Luke 23:42-43

"Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

  • well i was baptized at 2 months..and all i got was a sprinkle..guess im hellbound

homewood eh?..right by me..wats the church called now?

..btw to ME,the best way to get others to share ur faith is to lead by example!!..tell her to watch mark anthony! lol

  • I totally agree with you Michelle! And you also have to live by being an example. Scaring them does not work, that is just a sad way to get someone to believe or even want to get close to God.

  • "And you also have to live by being an example."

I think your actions are the best way to show someone God's love...it doesn't get better than that!

  • Ashley - I can only speak for myself and from my own experience, but I truly believe it all comes from within. Mama's right - don't let anybody scare you into being what they want you to be. Go with what speaks to you from within. If it feels right, in your heart and soul, then that's the direction you need to go.

    Best wishes. =)

  • You are so right! This is a great video.

  • and all these religions...

trust me i LOVE what some religions do... i mean the catholic church is the biggest philanthropist in the world

but among EVERY religion there will be BLACK SHEEP

the bible does say "there will be wolves dressed in sheeps clothing

  • i think its something in matthew... i read last night that says that the bible is not about religion but whoever reads it and whoever follows it will have salvation hmm lemme look for it...

  • You look absolutely fabulous and that make up and hair are sitting.

You are so right with everything you are sayin in this video. I co sign completely.

  • I am always told not to worry about what others had to say because at the end of the day these people have neither heaven nor hell to put you in...kudos for this vid--it was very necessary...GOD Bless!!
