Every time he puts out an album, regardless of the project, I cling onto it and identify with it for months and months until the next comes out. This one is no different.
@jameshomicide the honesty in this album is painful. im married and i can relate to almost every word. i'm sure any male can relate with almost every lyric on this record.
I love Tim Kasher's work, but this album is such a disappointment. He's always complained about unstable relationships, and now he's bitching about being married. I just feel like it's all so contrived.
@LaShnike i just listened to the instant stream that saddle creek emailed me, and it's not disappointing at all! some of the tracks are lacking but most of them are full, fun, and memorable. as a married man myself, i can relate to a lot of the content on the album. also, tim's bitched about marriage before. domestica was about tims first marriage, wasn't it? i think he's had a few.
@MrMertin no, it's a $50 bundle, and i did order it from saddle creek. it came with the LP and CD, plus the cold love 7" and another 7" thats limited to 100 copies and is hand screened and signed. plus a shirt, a signed poster, stickers, buttons, etc.
i bought it for the limited edition 7" more than anything. theres only 100 of 'em and only available in america. so...yeah.

Really wish I had known about the $50 bundle. It's sold out now and I had to settle on the $25.
