  • Not bad for a 1st transplant but u need to trim off the excess glue with a sharp pair of fingernail scissors. Would look MUCH cleaner between the sole & the mating to the midsole.

I'm certain you could've taken your hair drier to remove the old soles' Jumpman & the new soles' yellow Jumpman icons & just swapped em out before gluin the new soles on to keep that OG look. Minor detail but if you do it again in the future...

OG Jams are the best tho. Bout to part ways with mine I think...time for a

  • those r fake yellow jumpman com on now

  • Bro nxt time use barge cement cuz ive tried shoe goo n its jst messy n doesnt look as clean,,but over all nice job

  • @15Zale Yeah shoe goo is pretty messy. If I run into that again barge cement it is!

  • @15Zale I actually ended up taking it to a professional shop and had them do it. They probably used barge cement themselves, but the good thing is they have actual shoe presses that will do the work.

  • there fake unless you have the old space jams that are really rare but the left shoe the jordan sign is facingleft side which is wrong

  • @drega121 They ARE the old space jams. I think I need to make a video with my OG DS Space Jams with these so you guys can get a better look at what's going on lol.

  • You know you can repaint the jumpman by using acetone to take the existing paint off & paint it blue or white. The paint is on top & around the sides of the jumpman not under it (so that it is visible through the icy soles). Just to let you know that.

  • Dude these are fake

  • @soroxis Where are you getting the idea that they're fake? lol. The box is beat up sure. The soles are from a XI IE so they're not originally from another pair of space jams. Other than that I have no clue where people are getting this idea of them being fake from.

  • @optimusp517 i get a lot of haters saying my stuff is fake to. They don't have an idea of shoes.

  • to bad their fake

  • @bling380 I'm sorry to say they're not. The original soles were tossed. I took the soles off of a pair of XI IE that's why there's a yellow jumpman. :)

  • @optimusp517 lol i only said it cause of the box

  • na the shoe. lol

    iss>??

  • where did you get em??

  • @redsun20599 Buy what the soles? I took them off a pair of Jordan XI IE.

  • transplant the sole? lmaooo epic fail

  • @kingbigdawg9 I just found out if you have separated soles you can usually just take it to a shoe repair and they'll professionally do it for you!

  • I would probably rip the shoe apart and not knowing what to do.

  • tou have balls for this my friend i would have fucked it up

  • you probably want to stay away from shoe goo next time....

i heard its wack for reapplying soles.

i know there is a better glue for this but i cant think of it right now. ill get back to you though on that.

  • @killacamron If I do it next time I'll actually just take it to a shop and have them do it professionally cause it was a PITA to put them back.

  • What would be the easiest method? Would it be something like seaglo them off then shoe going them onto the other pair??

  • @KsEfan504 What do you mean? You have to heat up the bottom so the glue melts and you'll use acetone to help removal of the glue underneath the soles and then you want to clean up the acetone on the shoe with some dish soap and then you just take your replacement soles and glue them on. Patient is the key.

  • @optimusp517 Oh ok, its just that I heard seaglow can remove the sole of your shoes if it gets placed on the glue holding them.. Thanks

  • hey man idk how u did this but u r a cool dude lol

  • @pooksss45 I just saw someone else do it. Pretty neat idea and wouldn't mind having a stack of these guys so I can sole swap them as well :P

  • wait; why is the jumpman yellow if yur only switching the ice ? is the jumpman attach to the ice or what ? and if the original ice was coming off why can yu just glue it back instead of switchin em ? well thats hella tight tho hah

  • @ILOVEVAIO150 Jumpman is yellow because they were taken off a pair of XI IE. The original soles that were on there was PISS YELLOW so I didn't want them on there anymore. Hence the reason to start this project.

  • most the people here dont know about sole swapping..its easy to do it on 11s

  • So you didn't remove the mid-sole right? just the clear bottoms??? nice job i guess,,,

  • @Brooklynhead1 Yup, just the clear bottom. Never removed the midsoles.

  • i did this to my jams if you heat up the sole the glue will come out and you can get the jumpman out of there and i took it out and put the blue one in

  • HOW THE HELL DID U DO THAT???

  • shit looks kool

  • Sole transplant.......CRAZY !

  • WAT WEBSITE U GOT THEM FROM??

  • I didn't buy them from anywhere. I had a pair of old spacejams with yellow soles that were falling off. I took a pair of XI IE and took the soles off and swapped it.

  • damn dey look fresh just like da the space jamms........ did they fall apart after u wore them??

  • good job
