Awww,so adorable ^^ I think it's great that you're giving her such a nice bath. My kitty would let me give him a bath except he would cry a bit more but he would behave pretty much the same. Cats CAN be bathed,it just depends. But yeah,my cat would know the word 'bath' and he would go hide right away X'D So cute.

@bookkeeper57 How is that too much water? The bath tub is only filled to his stomach. Also, how is my cat fighting this? Sure he's complaining but warm water isn't going to harm him.

By the way, I do take Claritin but it's not a cure all end all pill.

@Bahdack the cat complains, completely normal. He's not going crazy so he trusts you obviously. Its not too stressed. But I assume you're going a bit slower for the video. The faster you get it done the better. And while most people recommend sinks, its okay to use the tub provided the cat is used to it. My cat sometimes gets like this, she cries a bit during the bath then sucks it up and gets used to it. She loves how clean she is afterwards though and is very thankful as she rubs on me.

how long did it take to get him that calm? I have to hold my cats front paws. She doesn't bite but licks at me and I try to calm her down by talking softky. I always wrap her in a towel and hold her to calm her down then let her go on her own

once i tried to bathe my cat.. scratched my arms off... put socks on... still wasnt happy... me and my parents leave the bathing to the vets... once they stuck a thermometer uo her butt and for like a helf an hour her tail was covering it up... they really cudnt keep her still... they needed falken gloves for my monster!

It took a lot of trust and repetition over time. Believe me, when I first gave him a bath, he would fight me all the way. He still wines about taking a bath but he's more calm and relaxed about it now; it's almost a nonissue.

I took in a stray cat and I am having her spayed today. I wish she could be so trusting with me so I could wash her. I too have allergies, and I know that bathing cats reducees them alot.
