this piece in particular is extremely tragic, in that, my perception of time stops, i become frozen in tragedy, drenched in tears.

Listened to all types of "alternative" music in the late 70's, 80's and 90's...hardcore punk, speed metal, dub reggae, new wave, etc. But this type of ambient electronic music has always been my favorite...a bit sad, a bit depressing but personally enjoyable.

indeed. the thing i like the most about ambient is how simple and fundamental it is. if you as me, it is the purest form of music. there is little in form or anything else getting in the way. pure and simple expression, as minimalistic as possible. absolutely beautiful music..
