Great bike. I didn't have the funds for it but I got the F650GS . Same engine a little de-tuned so a bit less power but overall very nice bike . Mabe not at good a the f800 but for 4500$ CND it's worth every penny . Just be carefull though, when you buy a BMW like this you need alot of equipment . Saddle bags, tank bag, racks etc,THats where you'll burn you money.And In my case in Canada the 3year warranty is parts only. They charge for labor. I'm 5,8 160 pounds the F800 just to big for me.

Um, either you bought a used bike with an after market warranty or the dealer is trying to screw you! read the warranty on the BMW Motorad Canada web site; 3 years, no charge for parts or labour. It's clearly stated. Also if you got a new F 650 GS for $4500.00 I would like to know where!

its actually clearily not the same engine ones a 650 and the other is an 800

It's the same engine ...both use the 800cc . The F650GS TWIN has only been slightly d-tuned a little so it has about 14HP less than the 800. But trust me the 08-09 F650GS has a twin 800cc engine just like the F800GS.

That is a cool video and I would love to have one. But... I didn't see the bike do anything I couldn't do on a sportbike. Sure it was offroad, but it looked like paved dirt. Lets see some real world ruts and mud and sand and rocks under those wheels! Awesome bike. Lets see the limits.

It's got the same ignition timing as the flat twin 1200 GS, so it produces the same kind of sound (but much lighter ofcourse, because of the 400cc difference)
