eh, I'd watch it just to see how the new Freddy performs the character. Things can't always stay the same. Just look at the way Christopher Nolan has done Batman. Awesome! maybe this is another suprise. 1 solid thumb up.

Hm, I'm giving the trailer a half a thumb up. It does look very good; looks like they took famous scenes from all of the 'nightmare on elm street' films and put them together. BUT, when I saw Freddy's face, it doesn't do it for me. And the actor's voice doesn't either. I guess I'm just used to Robert Englund's voice and overall Freddy Krueger persona.
