Well at least he gets some exercise, and that's always a good thing with older cats too in my opinion! Again...a cat will only do something like this if they're in the mood and really want to do it. You could make a dog easily do basically anything by just "programming" it. They are a bit like computers, they just follow orders. I gess that's why men like dogs so much. Easy to push around. But with cats you just never know if they feel like doing it at that moment.Cats are more genuine ; )

@MsAzure77 I guess you would not classify yourself as an animal lover then. Dogs do things because they enjoy seeing how happy it makes the people they love. Also, not all dogs can be trained agility, some just hate it. It has less to do with intelligence and "programming" than it does with owner who have found something their animal enjoys. I enjoy all my animals (horses, dogs, and cats) for the individual outlook on life they bring.
