Dark Regions Press has confirmed their interest in publishing this new book. There will be a DELUXE THIRTEEN EDITION, limited to 13 ultra deluxe copies, plus a regular trade paperback edition and an ebook edition. We are looking at an August release this year. I need to get my ass in gear and write the new stuff!
@zonkorias1 The story is based on a letter that Lovecraft wrote to Donald Wandrei on 24 November 1927. The opening and closing paragraphs that turned the letter into a story were written by J. Chapman Miske, when he published the thing in the January 1941 issue of his fanzine, Bizarre -- and it was Miske who invented the story's title. Because it is not a real story by HPL, S. T. Joshi has removed it from his editions of Lovecraft's fiction.

That's probably my favorite supernatural horror in literature quote.
Glad to hear you're writing!

Lovecraft himself provided a perfect title for a story about his penis: "The Thing in the Moonlight." How romantic.

@zonkorias1 That title is not Lovecraft's, honey.

@MrWilum I stand corrected. Whose title is it?

I hope the sex scene in S. T. Joshi's novel includes a description of Lovecraft's penis. If it doesn't, ask him to put that in. Hey, I'm curious.

@zonkorias1 For details on Lovecraft's phallus and its performance, read TROLLEY NO. 1852 and PAGES TORN FROM A TRAVEL JOURNAL by Edward Lee.

@MrWilum Thanks for the tip (no pun intended).
