  • that was a really good concert , i had ticket to the concert in gothenburg but i had to work that day , but then i was lucky to have the opportunity to see the in the skydome..... and with the cntower in the background it was the best concert i ever been too....

  • I LOVE U2!!!!!!:DDDDDDDD<3333333333333

  • Unreal video, cant wait until tomorrow night here in Philly (after a year and 2 day postponement) It will be worth the wait.

  • I love Bono in a spiritual way. He is such a remarkable humanitarian, besides being an awesome writer and singer ect. I just LOVE him and the U2 band.! Always

  • They give the best live concerts.

  • bono you infecting my computer

  • What an awesome concert!!!!!Can't wait until July 2011 Toronto!!!

  • im sorry, as a big u2 fan, this sucks, who wants to see them like 20 meters apart from each other?, they are a group for christ sake , they look so lone , if like every one of them are giving a show for their own

  • @corleonex I totally agree! Although the rest stage is a piece of art...

  • hey i was there in the nosebleed seats these people right here get to feel bono sweat on them :)

    great concert though

  • I was at this concert. I filmed parts of it myself, but I was much farther away, in the lower 123 area. I think it may have been even better than the Zoo TV tour at the C.N.E stadium.

  • Does anybody else feel like Trip Through Your Wires would be awesome in concert?

  • @jack54686 certainly would

  • Great clips Monty, seeing them in Philadelphia in July, can't wait!

  • Wow that looked like an awesome concert! Going to see them in Montreal this summer ;D

    Hahah at 4:11 "I hope he's okay" :P

  • Wow-you had an awesome seat!

  • heiich fände es richtig schön wen mich jemand vor dem allein sein erlöst , grade langweile pur

  • These people waving their hands with fingers pointing are so obviously trying to be cool. There's nothing genuine about this ego-centric demonstration of affection. It's pathetic and embarrassing that fans of pop concerts act this way. Annoying for the people who can't see clearly behind, too.

  • Amazing videos man! I'm going when they come back in July and I have ow 6 in sec 103 - can't fuckin wait!!

  • @RCerenz

Me too. I wonder if they are going to change-up the show, or if it will be a rehash of the two I've already seen?

  • @lisamarie656 I hope they play more from "Atomic Bomb" album at the next one

  • U2 wrote "Miami"

  • i was in the same spot as you! well around that general area haha....GREAT FUCKIN SHOW!!

  • same here...i think i saw me lol

  • That is pretty cool. It takers alot of co-ordination to walk down the stairs and play guitar at the same time. It is not like walking on thew same level and playing guitar because there are more balence issues involved. That is why they are rockstars. ;)

  • Looks Great

I got tickets for the July 3rd Concert

    :)

  • @CPBobby888 Me tooo:D lower bowl first row. Screw the floor ;p

  • @CPBobby888 Lucky basterd......i gotta get my hand on a pair!! hopefully their not sold out yet!

  • Making A DVD of this concert Do you have anymore videos If so please post Il give credit to you :)

  • Great video quality! You were right in the mix. I got tickets for the July 3rd 2010 show. I have never been to the Rogers Centre. What is a good section to sit in for the concert (not counting GA)??

  • @24kbel I would say, any of the 100 blue section. At my first concert i was in121, 2010 im in 117

  • Wow! you had great seats, or a place to stand :) and the quality of the video is amazing. what kind of camera do you have? thanks for posting ☺

  • Great footage....what did do you use to film this?

  • my friend had tickets to this concert way above the stage and started getting vertigo, no pun intended. When he complained to one of the managers they sat him 11 rows back from the stage.

  • 4:14 i remember when he ran around the whole stage he took so long, haha bono's pretty old now.

one of the greatest concerts ive been to

i was way behind you though i was at a seat :( first level though:)

  • I have good songs i videotaped too, check it out. and btw good upload !

  • i went to this concert and totally enjoyed it.

  • The sound quality is amazing, I went to the 17th show it was incredible

  • Ditto here. Bono (and the techs) nailed it with those eight (8) ribbons of speakers hanging off the claw in a fan shape. Crisp sound right up to the nosebleeds (aided by the open Rogers Centre roof). Great show. Super sound.

  • Dude-these are GREAT!

  • I seen spectacular concerts like

    Pink Floyd

    Stones

    The Who

    Sars Concert etc.

But this one Tops them all, I was at the GA

right at the front just the stage setup was absolutely breathtaking and Bono, Edge, Adam give 110% for this show

and I thank for that, I will never forget that night longest I live...

    U2 ROCKS!!!!!

  • cool. i went too.

  • @wmtogear Better than Pink Floyd, Stones..Jesus, my head may explode come tomorrow..lol. I still have '94 Veterans Stadium Philly - Pink Floyd as my #1 concert.

  • Great clips of an awesome show. Thanks for posting.

  • so that's what the band looks like. I was way up in the stratosphere when I saw them and planes were flying past me I was so high up.

  • I don't care what anyone thinks but this is terrible! Bono is flat and these guys are off. I have been to many U2 shows and have been a fan since 80, I'll tell you...this is the shits!

  • Why do you say this?? Bono ws great!!

What else do you want from them??They put on an amazing show i was there the 17th had floors theBEST!!

Do you think this could be there last tour???

  • Don't get me wrong, I love these guys! But it just sounds bad, they are not fresh anymore...Bono voice is not as strong...Edge on the other hand is Unreal!! I just wish they would regroup....take some time off...get back to the roots of who the they are...if they don't watch it they may get burnt and quit. A very passionate band....but this is not their best work..

  • were you there? Bono sounded awesome. Better than on the vertigo tour by far!

  • better than on Achtung Baby? unbelievable

  • Wow! Ummm let's get a grip on reality here. Zoo Tv was almost 20 years ago. What'ya expect. Anyone who wants or expects Bono's voice to sound as it did 20 years ago clearly isn't playing with a full deck.,

  • Unfortunately, wasn't able to be there. I don't mean he sounds bad. Because he sounds terrific. He sounds fantastic, nowadays, different than 31 years ago, for sure ;)

I'm as old as the Band is, as you see.

Thank you for your e.mail, really appreciate, that you've read and wrote it to me. Even though I haven't understand everything, I'm not a native speaker of English, I do not live in English-spoken country. I'm a teacher, so you have to speak English to me, like from your school books. :)

  • I can't wait until October 25th in LA...

  • Amazing concert..first time we saw them ..from Nova Scotia!!! Can't wait ti see them again..thanks for the great video!!

  • I was at this show it was Magnificent .You did a great job of capturing some of the excitment of the night for others to enjoy.BRAVO

  • Monty what camera was this shot with? The quality is excellent...

  • that was best concert i've been to im 13 go U2!!

  • Best concert ever...Thanks U2

  • I was at this show, and believe me there was lots of energy from the crowd. Clearly this video proves it....how can anyone conclude otherwise? Bono stated during the show the relationship between Toronto and the band has been "long-term". Remember, Toronto was the first city to embrace U2 in the early 80s when they performed in city's clubs. It was Toronto (not Ireland) that gave U2 its initial start and popularity.

  • This was the 4th and 5th time I've seen them and by far the best show(s) yet! I have moved away from Toronto but you can bet I'll go home evertime U2 plays there...there is an energy when they play there that you don't see in other venues.

  • where is the energy the vibe??? Dublin was jumping and so was Glasgow. Cmon its U2 get singing, dancing and screaming for joy. :)

  • I was there last thursday had floors

during the show there was crazy fans drunk and rude pusing me not fun at all

some toronto fans were fuckin rude

But the energy was there bono and the rest of the gang were excellent my highlight of the year im worried they wont tour again because they are getting older and rich enough how can they top this tour?? i would love to see them again without my drunk freind

  • OH MAN I love u2.

I was there in the Pit on the 17th..what a show..Just close to The Edge...it was great

    I have some great pics and videos....U2 I love...from Ottawa...Canada

  • You were really close from them... Great video u have! The concert was amazing

  • Love the guy that says "I hope he is okay" when he dramatically threw himself down on the catwalk..haha Great catch!!!

  • monty, thanx for the video, I was in chicago on 9/13 expecting to here just a few of the songs i like. but of course i didnt. one of them was STAY which you got at least of part of, the other i wanted to here was IN GODS COUNTRY and a few more i didnt here. very dissapointed. but anyway good shots, and thanxs again

  • Toronto is an Uptight City.

  • I think so to the fans were fuckin rude to me try talking to one of them beside you i had floors you smile at them and they kind of look at you like fuck you there was a guy who was tall in front of me i asked him to move he said dont touch me

NO I WONT MOVE ASSHOLE!!! I had floors viva u2 what didnt you like about toronto fans??? Im from toronto

  • There was a lot of rude fans on the floor in Toronto as well as New York. I'm from Calgary and honestly a lot of people seemed up their own asses at these gigs. As for the energy I agree it was definately there in spades. Videos can't capture that and they definately don't capture the rocking bass line of Crazy

  • Hi thanks for writing back to me ya toronto fans wre stuck up energy people cmon its u2!! The last of the big rock bands i feel that can fill rogers center up like that.

Do you think bono looks good still?? or tired?? I saw them on SNL last night good stuff but youtube took it off the page

to bad do you think they will tour toronto again??

  • agreed. There are assholes at every concert though. Would be better if there was no beer service. I was lucky to have normal people around me but I was up in the nosebleeds.

  • agreed. There are assholes at every concert though. Would be better if there was no beer service. I was lucky to have normal people around me but I was up in the nosebleeds.

  • im sad to hear this u2 fans around the world, are "one" but we're not the same.

i met an italian guy and brazillian guy in glasgow even tho we could hardly understand each other, our love for u2 broke down language barriers

love and peace from a scottish u2 fan

  • Hi im glad you had a great experince ive loved u2 for along time.Bono is the ultimate performer NO oNe like him at all.He moves you lifts you up.

Do you think this could be there last tour??? Im worried that it will be bono is 49 afterall looks great though!

let me know what you think

    Hi from toronto!!!

    viva u2!!!

  • I was there for both shows. Wed was ok. Thurs was epic.

  • I agree - I was at the Thursday show as well. LOVED IT. Took a little to get the crowd going but it went!

  • Good show, dismal crowd. I was surrounded by people, even my own pal, who just sat around texting on their fucking Blackberries all night instead of rocking out. I think the band could feel the chilly response, esecially from a lot of the NLOTH tunes. I am disappointed that they didn't play a lot of my favorite songs. Where was Pride/Mysterious Ways/Even Better than the Real Thing? Be advised, a lot of old favorites are being shelved this time around. God did not walk through the room = /

  • Really?? I was there on thursday night fucking awsome show i had floors close to the stage but i had a rude bunch of people around me drunk annoying pushing to get to the front almost got in a verbal fight dissapointing some toronto fans are fucking uptight man its U2!!!!!!

You think the crowd didnt respond to their new stuff? huh i loved it i loved Ill go crazy

remix the best bono gets better and better

sexy man thats for sure maybe toronto fans suck i dont know

  • great concert, my first that big, i loved it, but I would like to see only U2 not their humanitary message, nobody cares, nobody gives a ...., once u pay 260 a tix u expect to hear only the music U like, not to see halos about their heads.

  • I agree. I was there on the Thursday (the 17th), it was an epic show, and at least he saved the politics until the end.

But I kind of facepalmed once they brought Desmond Tutu on screen and the 15-25 year olds with the Aung San Suu Kyi masks during Walk On. I love U2s music, that's why I paid $45 over Ticketmaster to see them, but I find Bono to have a bit of an ego.

  • It's like when you order won ton -- 'cause you also get egg roll. That's just the way it is. You order the one, you get the other too. Now, if it matters to someone enough, they don't order it at all. Me I just ignore the egg roll (push it to the side); I don't bother complaining.

  • i completly agree and understand, thats something u cannot get rid of, the sauce of success of today. unless u adopt a kid from africa or point on your humanitary activities, u wont get popular. I have nothing against it, but i think in your civilizet countries, there are much more to do then to support someone else, its not our problem at all. There are also tons of abandoned childrens in here, why in the world we must drag kids from africa ?

  • You have a point here. It is Bono after all. It's not like I wasn't expecting it. And it was an epic show even still, it did little to spoil it.

I wish he would keep the politics to when he's meeting with Presidents, Pope's and Prime Ministers, speaking at ONE press conferences, at the World Economic Forum, things like that, not when he's playing a show. The majority probably disagree with me, but I'd personally more enjoy a show like that from U2.

  • Ah what a world we live in where people are ridiculed for trying to help others.

  • Good point, I agree. Someone is using their popularity and fame for the good, and they are criticized. Bono is the best thing to come out of rock music since John Lennon. Read the book, "Bono, in conversation with Michka Assayas", you'll think differently of his good works.

  • I don't ridicule people who help others. My problem isn't Bono trying to help solve problems in Africa. That's cool. We disagree in methods to do it but I can't really fault him for that.

My problem, even as someone who likes his music, is his sense of self importance and his hypocrisy:

    ww w . itznewstome . com /2006 /11 /02 /bono-is-a-hypocrite/

ww w . nytimes . com /2006/ 08 /07/business/media/07carr . html (buying into Forbes, a magazine which celebrates vast amounts of wealth, ya ok)

  • Thanks for posting - I was there with my family and I can see us!!

  • I've sen them @ the Ex some time ago, that was a great show as well! But the question is: did this show REALLY worth 260 bucks??? And with their involvement in nature protection and all that, I wonder if they know, that the transportation of their rig is leaving a serious carbon footprint?!.... Correct me if I'm wrong: 300K cars travelling across USA from coast to coast, that's the imprint that they leave.... Now is this a paradox or what?...

  • That was some really great camera work G.

I grew up hearing theses guys and they will always be apart of me each and every one of them.......

From Montreal city Canada we salute you U2

  • great vid.

I was there and found show fantastic

  • u gave me a headach when u shaked the camera at the end of the vid

  • lol sum1 threw their bra on the stage

  • i was fourth row from the stage. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO what a night

  • Did they sing Pride In the Name of Love on Wed 16th Sep? I saw someone posted that but I dot recall. Was it early in the line up or at the very end? I know the did more than 1 encore but we left when DJ music came on.

  • thats where we'll be in Vancouver bc place were in the red zone i hope they do play where the streets have no name im irish

  • They'll play it. It's been on evry playlist this tour so far. Crowd went wild on the 16th from the first notes.

  • 4:12 ... Bono at the ultimate douche level!!!

  • Just an fantastic concert.

Finally, Rogers Centre / SkyDome put to good use; Blue Jays and Argos just waste the space. LOL!!

  • I was at the first show and it was awesome. Most striking was the quality of the sound ... I am still in awe; it was astounding. 2nd night may have been more "hopping", although I thought first night was plenty. Thing is, RIM took 20,000 of the first night tickets as part of their Blackberry sponsorship of the 360 Tour -- RIM clients wouldn't necessarily be the ones to "walk on the wild side" ... and that is one third of the crowd right there. Overall, worth way more than the price of admission.

  • this is such a good video

  • your close to the stage

  • bono is such a fuck...

  • 3:30 haha

  • siroptimistic - there is some truth in your words. I have been a fun of U2 for 15 years, 7 years ago immigrated to Canada and these were my first U2 live shows(Toronto). They look tired from music and show business performance is not sincere any more, just to get a cheque.

  • i was at this concert in the 200 section and believe it or not, there were some people sitting around me that kept telling me to sit down??? c'mon people! go a little crazy!!!! thanx for a great video!!

  • most beautiful

  • haha...that was so funny when someone threw the bra at bono. I swear i was directly behind you man....

  • Great show, glad I got to go! :D

  • Your opinion is overrated. Typically in U2 shows there are more than just 4 musicians playing. You just don't always see the others because they are behind or below the stage.

  • really there are more than 4 sweet guys playing?? What else are they playing??

    How do you know that??

  • i like how they sound

  • I can see myself!!! yeahhh. This was awesome.

  • U had the perfect place

  • it was an amazing concert..i just got back from tonights show!!! love u2!! thx for the video!

  • i went both nights and i must say in comparison the second night was alot better, so much more energy and a way better setlist

  • Boring, eh? The shaking at the end of the video was b/c the entire crowd was jumping in unison. It was INSANE!

And as someone mentioned, it's Canada, not America.

  • Toronto looks bored. All of Toronto should have just packed up and come to Chicago on opening night.

  • Not bored, but a very reserved city.

  • Hey Moscov13- not sure if you can read or not- but right above the video in huge letters- says Tour concert in Toronto 2009 Meaning Toronto, Canada- not America- so what's with all the hostility torwards Americans having fat asses? Like there aren't fat asses in Europe, too! Maybe the audience wanted to actually hear him sing the songs instead of just their own loud asses screaming over the singer!

  • probably one of the greatest shows ive been too

  • next time don't play drums on your mic. It doesn't sound good.

  • why is that whenever i watch live gigs from america the audience is so fu*&*in boring? NOt even a show like that can move your fat asses? You should see it here in europe!

  • You make an interesting point. If you look at the Italy, Spain or Croatian shows, people seem to be going nuts. But the NA shows dont seem to have the "POW" of the european shows. When Im at Giants Stadium on 9/24, I will be an "honorary european" for that night ;)

  • Umm... not borning at all. The skydome has perfect sound. The crowd was insane, but the sound is so perfect, you can't hear the static from the crowd as you would on other recordings.

PS...NOT AMERICA. We're Canadian. There is a difference. Fat asses? Perhaps bigger than the average European, however.. we bathe. I would much rather be in a crowd where people are 10lbs heavier than in a crowd where people haven't seen a shower in a month.

  • 0:55 BRA STRAP THROWN !!!!!!!

  • I was at opening night in Chicago, but not close to stage. I wish I could have the experience to be this close. They rocked Chicago. Got to love Bono's shoe lifts...LOL.

  • great music as always...but bono is starting to look like an old men when running and kicking...reminds me I too am getting old ;-)

    going to tonite's show

    thanks for sharing, cool vid

  • I just found myself on there... guy with the iphone...

    (3:44)

  • Dude, I was just to the left of you, probably like three people over! Great night!

  • Just saved my self 250 bucks! Thanks.

  • There is nothing like the real thing . I was there

  • You have no idea how great they are live i put down 250 dollars for floors at toronto loved it except for the drunk fans Anyway if you dont like u2 why bother on this site?? please r eply

  • Excellent quality footage but it looks to me like this concert sucked .... I'm going next week in NJ and not looking forward to it ... way too much new stuff .... which I think is brutal. Hopefully Muse will be terrific at least.

  • I love that they did a lot of their newer songs and didn't rely on the old stuff too much except the very best (SBS, One, WOWY, WTSHNN)

  • Hhey how can you jude like 9 minutes of footage from there AMAZING BRILLIANT

CONCERT when its goes on for like 2 and a half hours?? Your nuts Thier new stuff is GOOD get ues to it .Its u2 the last of the big rock bands!! This could be there

last tour you know so dont be such an idoit.Dont YOU like u2 at all why are you going then??

Bono puts soo much into the songs brilliant let me know how it went

    thanks

  • Man, great spot! I do love Stay, but at the start of the song the only thing I could focus was Bono's butt pointed at your direction, hahaha! Anyways, great vid! I envy you guys whose country gets visited by U2... =/

  • This is very well done. I rarely comment on videos, unless like these one they are superb. My favorite part of your footage? 8:53....You literally Go Crazy!

  • thanks man

  • Thanks for putting this together! :)

  • oh. it was an amazing show

  • Great vid, looks like a mega gig!

  • great footage, you really had a good spot!!!

i saw them at wembley london and cardiff wales they just get better all the time, they truly are the best rock band in the world at the moment especially live.......360 stage rocks as well, again thanks for posting vid.

  • yes the stage is perfect for such a big show

  • same, i cant wait these remaining hours, this vid is a major tease, lol

  • I am going tonight (17th) can't wait!!

  • enjoy!!!
