Nice playing! i would suggest using more than your first finger and digging a bit deeper with your thumb(helps keep the groove going), but still very VERY nice playing. Keep it up.

I use 2/3 picking fingers+thumb- check out Tommys website, there are tabs to many of his tunes on the net- i think there is one called 'Tabok'- good luck!

Another good friend, Tom Boyer, has recorded with Tommy Emmanuel & has a style similar to yours. I have many jim Earp & Tom Boyer videos on my channel. Keep playing & posting.

Yes it is a Maton 808, I've used it for a few years now and I travel with it, my other guitars are Ovation, Gibson J45(had since 1975), Martin and Yamaha, but I really enjoy the Maton. its Great to contact people like yourself, brings back your hope in human nature! There's magic in Judith's voice, like a soothing balm. Very nice guitar collection! I too have a Gibson J-45 Adj. (c.1960) I love the shorter scale, which makes even med-guage strings a joy to play. The lacquered finish is lightly crazed now to a beautiful effect. Bridge lifted off recently. Had it replaced with a non-adjustable which improved the tone dramatically. Ah wow! My favourite guitar of all time, mine is 1959. Interesting about bridge, I'd like to know more please. I gigged with mine upto about 3 yrs ago when I had a refret (long overdue) and a shertler pick up fitted, which meant some bridge and saddle work. I'm now wanting to put it back to its original. its like an old friend, however the Maton is just magic. Look forwrd to hearing about your Miss Gibson (got any photos?) I have 'Utubed' mine but cant remember off hand which ones. Cheers bud

The bridge simply split in half along the grain and started lifting off the soundboard.  I quickly detuned her a step and whisked her off to the shop. The luthier said he had 3 jobs on J-45s of similar vintage within the past 3 mos. Also warned about the pick guard lifting off and taking some of the soundboard grain with it. I love her even more now that she's had a bridge job so full and voluptuous -- sounding that is. Sorry mate, no photos, but Ill see what I can do. Cheers!

I have never really considered myself a 'hack', if you have a problem with titles then perhaps you should comment on all the other 20 million Utube users, stop viewing and go to a library instead. The titles should be reasonably reliable there and you can spend hours colouring them in, dig-dag?
