Funny thing is everybody loves to accuse Christian pastors and religious leaders overall of brainwashing church members for their own interests such as making money. Has anyone thought about the idea that Maybe Oprah is working her way to growing her own empire? I bet most of you would say "she would never do that, she's a good person". How do you know? Do you hang out with her? Have you been to her house? Have you seen her personal life?

The problem is that she bases her religion on feelings and not belief, as she said already. Just because we feel good about something, does that mean we are on the right path? If it feels good to cheat on my boyfriend, would I follow that path just because it feels right or good? Of course not! A lot of the times feelings lead us to destruction and other people's destruction. How many people marry a guy/girl because it feels right and they realize they're not right for each other? Wake up!

When you say that all ways lead to God, you are automatically saying there is no absolute truth and that nobody is wrong but that all ways, whether extreme or not will lead to the same end, which is finding God. However, when you say Christianity's teachings are wrong you are shutting down other this particular truth, thus you are automatically saying that there are ways that are right and others that are wrong. You are saying that only the ways you accept are truth. It doesn't make sense.

I think the passage refers to the fact that all will be deceived EXCEPT the elect. If your faith is strong you will not be deceived. Your faith is strengthened by the reading of the word of God and believing in his promises, not the words of the deceiver.
