@Gum2Gum , @Juanchich their costumes suck because they can't afford nice ones....they work on tips only. BTW if Elmo has a jersey on, its the sex-offender Elmo; he's been arrested twice.

They pose for photos.Then ask for tips. Most are a nuisance,& harass tourists for money. They are getting un employment,& checks for mental disabilities.Then they make tips,which they do not report.
Some chase down tourists ,that refuse to tip them.some are sex offenders. They were ran off.Then one of them had a lawyer.Who knew ,they could afford it.Courts declared it was not illegal for them to beg.So,it is like a nightmare to have them back.
Some of them have done it for 15 years,or more.
