@505197 Okay you either know nothing what so every about the Pantera or have only experienced kit car copies, The Pantera was quite fast and handled very well for it's day. I've seen Panteras beat newer Ferraris around the track. Not to mention was half the price of a Ferrari, Maserati or Lamborghini. Plus take into fact that the engine is a Ford 351 Cleveland witch is very modifiable. I've seen 700hp+ out of bored and stoked 351s Also I would rather a car that only cost $30 to change the oil

I watched about ten minutes of the first US Top Gear. Pathetic. The primary appeal of the UK show is its "Britishness", Clarkson`s snarky comments about "fat Americans" notwithstanding. The interplay between Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond is priceless and uniquely British. The Australian version, while miles ahead of the American one, still doesn`t cut it.

I would be amazed if the American version makes it beyond the first season.

That will be a failure for sure, a mid-engine is way better for it's handling and weight distribution.

I wouldn't buy it, but i'll sit it out and see how they will make this new NSX dance on the road with a front heavy engine like they're planning to give it.

I still think the regular NSX looks the best, and could still be improved much more with a stronger engine and more down force & better tires...
