  • I was there! This show made me want to be a percussionist! Lol granted i was in the 4th grade so automatically to me Pit and Drumline were the coolest. =)

  • I don't usually watch Drum Corps videos, but when I do I watch this video. Sick trumpet solos

  • Dear trumpet player at the beginning, remain in your clef please.

  • its so fast.....i love it.....

  • Gotta love that velocity!

  • hmmm, i love pit. To be in the Cavalier's pit is my goal in like two years.

  • omg im in flag and i love them i love the hole band :)

  • this is why Brass>Woodwinds

  • @persondude2 They've all got their merits, man. Brass may be better suited for the marching field, but that's an awful [sic] broad statement.

  • @DesertFox101 haha I understand. I'm a brass player myself so naturally, I'm going to say Brass is just the best. Of course, I don't truly mean it because all instruments are different and have their merits as you said.

  • This is one of my absolute favorite DCI moments of all time.

  • was this in Rutherford at the meadowlands?

  • @Jrsygirrl No....This was in Denver at Nats (the new Mile High Stadium)....and that floating drum circle is SICK!

  • Drwcubs: sorry I meant Bb! XD lol thanks for correcting me!!!

  • yes they won!!! they had a score of 98.7 ::: this beat the Blue Devils by .175pts

  • they did win this year...

  • Blue Devils win 2009

  • YES!!!

  • '04 was a good year for drum corps....

  • So was '08

  • The Latin Part of this show was completely amazing. The best part of the show in my opinion. They deserved to win that year by a long shot.

  • @shwn91 I thought they did win?

  • @Samwerd2 They did.. I was just saying they deserved it.. Lol.

  • The rules of what is and isn't allowed in a corps have changed over time. Until relatively recently only "bugles" pitched in G were allowed. Now most corps march "mixed" lines with sopranos in C, most everything else in concert pitch. Long ago, "alto horns" - kinda like concert baritones, but pitched in F - were used instead of mellophones. Point being, bones aren't allowed now, but depending on the association and corps they were in the past.

  • @dllasfan87 I don't know of a single corps that uses sopranos in C. Every world class corps marches Bb trumpets, baritones, euphoniums, and tubas and F mellos.

  • so learn baritone.....i did.

  • the drill at the 0:01 is amazing

  • lol you dont know about cavaliers?? it famous you know?!

  • This is a drum and bugle corps, not a 'band'.
