<3. I can relate personally as I've had issues too with the system but I've gotten a little better (myself a job at a liberal place that values intelligence and flexibility), but still emotionally drained (ADD, Asperger's, Depression) from my parents.. Bah humbug. That's life.

@XXYforLIFE As far as I know, yes. The clinical symptoms point towards it as the most likely reason. If this one Dutch hospital hadn't faked the mosaic test I would have known for sure.

@MayaPosch Certainly I think more medical tests for you are needed. What your claim is against the hospitals I'm not sure of and I expect if I could speak your language I'd understand more? The medical profession will never, and never has used the word 'intersex.' You mentioned you had PTSD and another psychiatric condition, both have the word 'disorder' in them that you don't seem concerned about. Why would the same word to describe your gonadal development be so distressful?

Hi Maya, do yourself a huge favor... Ban the idiots who chose to mock you. Now try to understand that it is bad everywhere. Dr.s and psychiatrists are only as good as the ink on their licenses to practice medicine. Just because it looks impressive hanging on a wall, doesn't mean the person with a medical degree actually knows anything.

@mishakailana I think any person with a medical degree from a reputable university knows a helluvalot more than you do. So that M Italiana person OII touts as an academic for support has a very dubious qualification, and most of the people who are XXY and associated with OII have no education of any sort at all. But I talk to the people who do the research much more than I talk to the people who misinterpret it.

I on the other hand regularly talk to the medical profession, the people who write the reports that you can't understand. It doesn't matter what people who have no authority believe, what matters is what parents believe and what doctors believe and since you'll never be one or other it doesn't matter what you believe either.
