Think they are coming in early at 3:17/18 and 3:23/24. I haven't seen the score so perhaps this is the way it was written. Any answers?

Had the opportunity to watch this live at UC Berkeley, I believe they're doing a great job of interpreting the piece. Definately a love song between the first violin and the cello, though I believe the cello virtuoso should be located near the front.
