i played it for months, everyday at full volume without the first problem. demoed it at numerous shows, again no problems. the alpine type s are good speakers. are they the best, no. do they handle plenty of power and sound awsome, yes. the bass on the head unit was all the way down.

why would you say that? its bad for everything electrical in the car, including the sub. i believe its cause it sends the wrong type of current to the sub and fries the coil. i could be wrong on that but i'm pretty sure.

it might b bad for the electrical wiring in the car but not the sub...the amp is just turning on and off...no wrong current or anything...trust me...talk to any car audio installer or expert
