The Armenian love song turned sour after the Armenian Genocide when the men who went to tend the crops and the sheep were never returned home to their loved ones, because they were all massacred.
Those who perished so long ago, I will miss them even though I did not know them or ever met them. I will try not to think of those horrible massacres they suffered, but my broken heart won’t let me forget until some form of justice is done for them, because it’s just wrong to true your back on the Armenians, especially if you’re of the Christian fate!
