I love growing tomatoes, but I must say that some of the hybrids that are disease resistant have great yields and don't require spraying. I like to grow "organic", when I've grown the heirlooms, they seem to have more disease and less yeild, while the hybrids seem to do great, no disease, and taste great. My favorite is 'Juliet Hybrid'.
OMG!! I love hierloom tomatoes! My favorites are the Rose, Green Zebra, German Striped, Pruden's Purple, Arkansas Traveller, and San Marzano. But I want to try Aunt Ruby's Green and more next year!

@Lunarlaserranging Nope. The rest of the tomato plant is mildly toxic, though.

I love tomatoes - these really are heirloom delights! I love heirloom tomatoes, and I grow only those.
