That was a highlight of the series. Previous episodes were a little slow, but this one opens up some new doors. My first guess is that Linderman, who obviously knew about Mackenzie's power as with Niki & DL, would use Mackenzie as an "after"life insurance policy so he can still pull some strings by giving his orders through her.
