There were 3 Family episodes that I remember vividly: One was where the mother kept having premonitions that came true (they always showed that one at Halloween time, very scary), the other was when Nancy had a stalker at school, and the third was a Cape Fear type plot where the family is bothered by a burned client. They were all spooky, and I loved them.
@MrRJMGREEN the stalker episode is on youtube. search ''family 2x15 someone's watching''. the cape fear episode is one of my favorites too. at the end doug shoots a bottle out of the bad guy's hand.
The lady who played Julia is Priscilla Lopez, Puerto Rican actress who now plays the Mom of the protagonist in the Broadway play, "In The Heights". I saw the play in San Diego few months ago and thought I recornized her face, but couldn't remember her name. She was very pretty and still is a very attractive lady; very talented.
I Wish the rest of this series would be released on DVD. I got into the first and second seasons and now have no way to see how the show story arcs continue!
how come her parents are so old? I mean, I don't think they look like parents, they look like grandparents. I always thought they were nice parents, but the look too old to have a daughter her age.
@getoutofmyway01 When this show was filmed, the parents were around 50 years old and Kristy McNicols' character was the very youngest of their three children who were in their mid to late 20's. And they were grandparents because the oldest daughter (played by Meredith Baxter and not seen in this episode) had a toddler baby boy during the series.
@koln1996 I was born in 1971 so, was a kid in the 70s. But, I had a great childhood. So, the 70s to me means good times. Television and music were awesome. Better than the crap out there today.
Yay!! Way to go Buddy! That's responsibility & maturity! Wow! What if this generation could see these kind of values on TV...the world would be a better place!

I had a crush on Kristy back then, and I think that I may still have a crush on her. She's so beautiful.
