@pcblah See my answer to sgermiller. It would be pretty difficult, cause Ethernet means physically connecting computers together. If I could, I would. I just looked and although I like CV better than many sims, my CV has no options for online (or Ethernet) flying.

I also have all the sims, including the first, "Aerochopper". I've thoroughly tested them with my friends and we all disagree with your comment.

I purchased Aerofly and like it. Previously, I had RealFlight Basic. RFB was good enough to get me started, but Aerofly lets you do much more. I run Aerofly 5.7.1.9. The problem I'm having though is I can't find anyone flying online. I tried a bunch of different sceneries, but each server shows 0 pilots. Are there other people flying online? Thanks for the great videos.

@thechoosendude Your right. I have them all turned off normally. I left them on so you could see some features that Frapps cannot record, or allow you to use when it is turned on.

I've mentored a lot of new guys and only one of them listened to me when I told them to spend a few months on a sim. That same guy who took my advice is now one of the best in the field.

@3FLYTE Your so right. There were no sims when we old pilots learned, so it took longer & was way more expensive to fly RC. Today the tools (No matter what sim) are great. However, I also recommend an experienced RC pilot help with that first flight of a new model. That is always the best lesson of all. And if it crashes at least he will tell you why. Inexperienced pilots usually aren't sure, radio or pilot error. They always blame the radio anyway. LOL. Thanks for your words.

I love the video and the simulator looks great! I have been disappointed in both Real Flight and Phoenix RC with the fact that they do not simulate fast planes. Everything looks like it can go 40 mph maximum. I am looking for a sim that accurately reproduces high speed EDF's, wings, and racer type of aircraft. Does Aerofly do this well?

@GamerSipes Yep, there are very fast models...so fast that some of the planes will break their wings off if you yank full up at speed...just like a couple of my real models have over the years. You would like it if you've tried the others. Thanks for the comments.

@sgermiller I would love to and I like Clearview over many other sims, however I do not remember seeing anything about being able to fly it over the Internet or the Ethernet. I just opened mine to make sure. Even if you and I could physically connect our computers (Ethernet) I don't see any option on mine to make it work. Thanks for the comment.

Great video as usual! I love flying my sim with planes. It's a pain in the bum to fly helis in it though. I have to reprogram my radio to a blank configuration before I can go into the sim. Otherwise, its WAY to difficult to set up the controls for helis. :(

Depending on what kind of screen you have on your TV. I know you cat would leave scratch marks on my Samsung matte screen.

RF6 graphic are quite poor imo and the flying physics of fixed wing is very disappointing especially for 3D.

@NightFlyyer sounds strange, I never had any problems with fraps. Did you use the internal recording of the af5, because this does only record your own movements...

If you look carefully sometimes you see a flying left-gear of a Katana in your redording xD
