I like the original SD40-2s. Dash 9s are getting annoying and boring. Railroads are not the same with Dash 9s.

the sd60 ( and sd 40-2) is an absolute pulling monster! there is nothing like a dc unit compared to all the modern ac /dc rectified german computer bs that nobody can even understand! the new shit ( ac) backs off under load, a dc unit pulls untill it dies.

M&B railroad...it was an older train on the other side of the tracks. I didn't see it so I don't know what kind it was.

I'm impressed by that comment. I thought all railfans hated 'catfish' and other NS GE's...I've always liked wide-cab NS locomotives, myself...liked the way they look and sound.
