  • can someone tell me where to get the lyrics to this song??

  • is sing tenor for my choir and it sounds just like this very good job

  • This is an oustanding version! Love the tempo and the relaxed feel. Well done!

  • @TheGrodly Thank you. Those are very kind words.

  • this is the best on the tube. We're singing this in concert choir and you sound just as amazing as we do :D

  • We are singing this exact arrangement in EMYC!

    its going to be awesome!

come out to see us if you live in southern manitoba!

  • This choir needs more sopranos to balance the female voices so that the girl's could sound confident as well as sweet.

  • best version on youtube so far. i really like it and the song aswell.

  • Can't love this song enough. Our Advanced Women's Choir did this, and I became obsessed haha.

  • best version of this song i've found so far. this song is so beautiful!

  • Freaking fantastic.

  • Brian tate did a workshop with us! :P He's so amazing!

  • This song gives me goosebumps.... the guys totally owned it ... and the girls wow ... amazing !

  • kay i love this song and they way this choir sang it, it was more beautiful then when i listened to it from another choir few days ago .. just saying lol and i hope my choir sings this soon!

  • Such a gorgeous song! Our Junior Vocal Ensemble did this song a few weeks ago and it's such a wonderful song to sing! Great job! :)

  • OMG!! WE ARE SINGING THIS SONG IN VOCAL MUSIC NOW!!! LOVE IT!!!!

  • A little fast, but good!

  • I LOVE IT! i cant get over it.. but i have to say our choir did better

  • my college choir is doing this! its so pretty to sing!

  • Very well performed!

But when the solo of the alto comes, you get faster and faster...

  • All in all, excellent. My gripes:

-it started too fast and got faster

-some choices of when to breathe were awkward

-you sang it with too much energy. It's supposed to be slow, gentle and relaxed...like rocking a baby.

You're lucky to have a guy who can hit that low Eb at the end (I'm that guy in my choir ;])

  • My son's middle school chorus did this, it's a very nice song. I really wish this recording didn't have automatic gain control (AGC) on - please check your camcorders and turn this off when recording musical performances, folks! They work hard on dynamics for a reason and AGC just wipes them out!

  • This wasn't a video camera...it was a small personal digi cam. RJC is a school where students come from a distance and many of their parents never get to see them perform. That's the purpose for this channel.

  • I love this song, i recently sang at PMEA state chorus and its now my favorite choral piece, and btw u guys are quite good

  • We're singing this in Treble choir at Johnsburg High!

  • Excellent sound, and great diction. Nice variation on "oo" to a "doo." this shows off the syncopation, which was really good. the end wasn't in tune. However, it was barely flat. The altos shouldn't push so much, just let the tone come forward, and dont sing so much from the throat, it hurts the pitch.

  • I LOVE this SONG!

    [= big time.

Dubois HS chior is singing it.

  • DCC choir did this song last year. We pretty much owned it <3

  • my choir is doing this song this year and we sing alot similar to you guys. ive heard some other recordings of it and i like the way you guys do it best

  • sounds WAY WAY WAY WAY then our Eastdale choir!!!! xD

  • sounds WAY WAY WAY WAY what?

  • way bettr i mean lol forgot the bettr part

  • You guys are great! This is good.

  • WE SANG THIS IN HONORS CHOIR

  • Microscope does it better!!!

  • we sang this song and actually had brian tate come to our school, it was amazing

  • RJC rules! The bass seems too strong to me most of the time. maybe thats just me though.

  • Well not monotne, but like the people who sing the same notes continuously. x] Sorry about that and thanks! :]

  • WHich one is the Tenor And which one is the base? cause I need to sing either Tenor or base for this one for this auditon. Is Tenor the third voice that enters and is last? and is Base the monotone low singing?

  • The tenor is the higher of the men's voices. They enter after the first verse as an echo to the alto melody.

I hope the basses aren't coming across as "monotone". :/

  • me too!!!! what school?
