  • Sooooo according to that chart that theoretical person would be very angry about the constriction in their life, at 24 years of age. Hmmmm interesting :)

  • This is really fascinating. I have always used a sunrise chart run for a noon birthtime. t is true that some cultures have begun the day at sunset (i.e. the Hebrew calendar considers a day to run from sunset to sunset). What do ou use to determine the moon's position when the birthtime is unknown since the moon moves 12 or 13 degrees per day? A noon birthtime is within about 6 degrees either way. In this method, 5 degrees equals a year so you'd be within an orb of about a year. Is that right?

  • nhoffman, The accuracy is fascinating as well. The moon will move or advance one degree of longitude for each six year period-(one house) just like in real time. The Moon at Sunset is valid. . .check this with celebrities that became popular, many times the moon changed sign.

Thanks for the note. . .

  • Wow this is really intresting no wonder people that knew me a few years back don't even recognize me anymore. I used to be more loud and open now I'm much more reserved. It must be something in my Chart that its happening right now, Thanx for putting this up.

  • As an astrologer i love this type of charting. Can you please tell us more about Sunset charts.

  • Hi Chad, Is this what is refered to as a progressed chart?

  • Yeah. Essentially, it's a Solar Arcs, which is a progressed chart. If you're thinking about 2ndary progressions, well, that's just one single form of a progression, as the concept of Solar Arc demonstrates another form. They are all basically predictive tools, and are super accurate. I like to use secondary progressions in accord with the coorosponding tertiary and minors, along with solar arcs and transits all at once to paint an accurate portrait of the spiritual and physical quality of life.

  • chadow, im a scorpio which is ruled by mars. on this kind of chart, do i just use my personal planets in the houses on the inside of the chart and aline them along with the zodiac planets on the outside of the chart and then move them one house every six years after my birth?

  • hello chad,i'd like to make one of these charts but don't really understand how to,do you have anymore info please, thanks

  • Hi Ste1404,

Go to thesunsetchart(dot) com. There you will find information about the biwheel.

  • thanks

  • Would you tell us about the tower of babel, on Messianc HEBREW website, it had "7" levels, all related to the planets, the base was( i think) Mars as "black", then Venus as" orangish red" and upwards to top where it ended with the culmination of all the planets. can you give an overview in detail. To believe astrology true understanding where astrology came from "G-d" Job 38:31 where G-d mentions "Pleiades ect., in the BIBLE, love to hear feedback.thanks

  • Watch the movie "Zeitgeist". It's freely, and legally, available on the net (youtube has it segments, but you may want to see the whole 2h of it in the official site).

  • Hi, Question???? thank you for the info , very clear.... can you give some details on the HEBREW MAZZOROTH ZODIAC, which is said to be the original ,& how the greeks come into it, and your thougghts on THE WITNESSS OF THE STARS by E.W. Bulllinger? and the BIBLICAL STORY it tells right up to the ENd of the AGE in the book of REVELATION? thanks.. many don't know the spirtitual connection of G-d's greatness in this.

  • Hi Alex,

Hebrew tradition believes the first Jewish patriarchs used astrology, including Abraham. Abraham came from Babylon or Mesopotamia, a city with a name that translates as "light of the astrologers," where planetary deities were worshipped.

  • Mr Chad, I purchased the video, and I must say that most of it went way over my head. One thing I did get out of it is that since my natal sun is in the eleventh, the most important time in my life will come some time when I'm 42-48 years old. Is that correct?

  • Yes. . .each house is the equivalent of 6 years of age.

Write to me and we can discuss different aspects of the sunset chart.

Can you cast a chart on the computer?

  • I beg to differ on the comments regarding "Modern Astrology isn't Astrology" and "planets after Saturn have no effect". It's one thing if you don't know or understand how those things work TOGETHER with traditional techniques (which several modern astrologers don't), another is to dismiss them that easily. Just a heads up, don't take it personally.

  • Hi Saga, Yes, I hear you and this will be a debate for years to come I'm afraid. Hoiwever, I am well versed in the many different astrological disciplines and my claim is just that more becomes confusing. The outers are too much of a generational impact to settle into the personal realm. One transit on a personal point doesn't cover that span.

  • I studied Astrology for many years. I do not believe in its characterisations of my being; Sun Pisces, Moon Cancer, Ascendant Cancer, Mercury Aquarius, Venus Pisces, Mars Cancer, Jupiter Gemini, Saturn Leo...etc...no empirical evidence, sorry...

  • That's because you don'y understand the actualy symbolism. . .you are lookig at the signs backwards

  • I do understand its 'symbolism'; all I am saying is that astrology cannot be empirically validated; people read what they want....

  • Hi Star, My point. . . Modern astrology isn't astrology at all. . . its about generic psychology. HUGE Difference. Use receptions on the planet points, you'll see a more concise picture.

  • Okay, question... you are talking a lot about "saturn is restrictive" and "saturn hold us back" but Mr. James has video says "planetary influence" is "jargon" and "not to be taken literaly" Now I'm really confused because Mr. James is one who recommended all the good astrology books to me.

    Bye!

    Nina-

  • Hi Nina,Saturn is the outermost planet we can see with the naked eye. As such it's basic premise becomes associated with "limit." With this in mind, we would symbolize any limitation with Saturn as it makes it's way through the zodiac. Also Saturn is the slowest planet as it takes longer to complete its synodic cycle of 29.5 years than any other visible planet.

  • Hi chadow, sorry I haven't been here so long. My brother finally comes home from hospital. busy week.

So, you explains about saturn. What about this new planet they find? Does this affects astrology at all? If not, why?

    bye!

    Nina-

  • Nina, Best wishes for brother. He will recover nicely.

No, new or old planets outside Saturn have no effect in the symbology of astrology; there are 12 houses, 12 signs, 7 planets 4 math points, Ascendant, MC, Nodes and Part of Fortune. It's allwe need

  • im pisces and i always hear bad stuff about scorpios but i really love them :)

  • Missmoi,The same elements usually harmonize. Perhaps the Scorpio "fixed" energy helps stabilizes the easy-going Pisces energy. . . a lot more than just the "Sun Signs" is necessary for delineation, otherwise astrology becomes farcical to the eyes of the serious astrologer.

  • what does it mean if my rising sign is taurus?

  • Alone, it hasn't ant meaning. It's like asking how much is more? We need a beginning point for analysis to commence. Each sign becomes modified from another. Taurus is recognized as fixed, with Venus as an asscoiate and Moon exaltation.

  • thanks for the wonderful explanation, you probably could assume the following sentence: Keep it coming!! (please; )

  • This is terrific Chadow! Thanks very much :-)

    Love

    Daisy
