You know what I don't live in Knoxville anymore but I'm tired of all this Fire fulmer stuff...honestly! Granted they were out coachd but at the same time we lost last year in California but still had a chance to win the SEC...people forget Ainge struggled his sophomore season horribly before he had a solid career...take care of business @ UAB and then take to fight to Tim Tebow...GO VOLS

The era of "dynasty" teams is over. We got beat by a worthy opponent. We weren't ready.

But remember we lost last year in Cal State and still won the SEC. So a loss in the opener doesn't count necessarily as a loss to the season.

As for West Coast being better...wake me when USC, Cal State, or UCLA actually drafts somebody to the NFL. Tennessee is in the top 5 for NFL Draft picks. Cal State isn't even in the running. We'll talk then

First of all it's U of Cal, not Cal State. You may remember DeSean Jackson who owned the Vols in Berkeley last year on his punt returns and WR.

What do you mean USC doesn't draft anyone into the NFL?! Reggie Bush? Matt Leinhart? OJ SIMPSON?? Like all their seniors every year?!

UT did not win the SEC, they lost to LSU in the champ game and got blown out 59-20 by UF. They had LUCKY wins against Vandy, Carolina, AND Vandy.

You make us Vol fans look bad let's hope we can save our season.

Theres nothing wrong with Fulmers coaching.

Arkansas has had 4 coaches in 8 years. No Championship. And they had the top 2 running backs in the country.

South Carolina has had 4 coaches in 10 years. No Championship.

That's just to name a few colleges who play the coach shuffle.

Whereas Tennessee has won Championships, and Divisions, and had winning seasons.

Whether they play well or not, I will always hate Tenn. It's probly mostly cause I'm from Alabama. lol I don't hate the vols fans or anything, just the team... and the coach. I don't like Fulmer, I didn't like Clausen or Ainge.. and I'm a southern girl so my hatred runs deep. lol I just don't like the way they play.

as an SEC fan, I'll take a stab at explaining this one... Tenn sucks ass. win or lose, they tarnish the reputation of the entire SEC and if it were up to me, I'd kick em out. I watched this game and cheered for USC just to see Tenn get their asses kicked... and I was not disappointed. a lot of true SEC fans feel the same. we disowned them.

I was sad after tennessee lost this game!! I love the vols, and this was an awful loss 4 us, not that UCLA is a horrible team, but because of the vols schedule! We're doomed! We're gonna suck this year! Dont get mad at me 4 sayin this! Its true! Ok, i wouldnt say i was sad, it was more like R U SERIOUS!!! Type of attitude! O well, congrats UCLA.

actually SC didn't play as well as I expected. I don't think they would've beat Bama, but it definately would have been a better game. I'm with you about the Buckeyes, though. I hope SC shits all over those fuckers
