@rocketsauced A BBC program, I noticed one thing about the BBC lately they are incredibly biased concerning Belgium, it seems like they hate it. When talking about it they generally are happy to show the bad points and the separatist movement, in such a way it looks like all Belgium is bad and the separatist are a convincing superiority while in reality they consist out only 22% of Flanders.

They aren't all that nice when it comes to the US, but neither are a lot of news organizations. There is some justification for it, but the obsession with my country is pretty strong. Like I said, I traveled around Belgium and it was an enjoyable experience.

@LaureJojo it's not that different over here, to be honest... our charts or full of crap as well ;) even tom dice & milow are nothing special compared to lesser known belgian musicians like hooverphonic, selah sue, sarah bettens, jasper steverlinck, lara fabian and many others. if you're interested check out the belgianmusic channel here on youtube, lots of interesting music in there.

@Cannibalzz In belgium and the netherlands we listen a lot to this music : Clouseau(belgium), Marco Borsato(the netherlands),Udo (Belgium), K3 (Belgium- for kids), Stef Bos (the netherlands), Andre Hazes (the netherlands- he died unfortunatly), Jan Smit (the netherlands), Dana Winner (Belgium- "vlinders achterna"), Tatyana Storm- De ware (Belgium), Amika - het is zomer,... (belgium- music for kids),

@Cannibalzz Well as i'm from belgium i have to say that i think there is no band that sings good in dutch (flemish if you want to make a difference...) but here are some people that are famous in belgium and sing in dutch. + clouseau + ...
this is the only one I can think of. I have to say it's in flemish so that means it's a bit of a dialect.

@Cannibalzz You won't learn Dutch by listening to the music xD Dutch is a very hard language to learn. I think the only way to learn it is to go and live here.
