@rocked30 they found her in the bath tub underwater. They say it was drowning but its possible that she fell asleep, because even though they hadnt found any illegal drugs in the room they found perscription drug Xanax and it is possible that she fell asleep.
As well Whitneys mother said that she was talking to her an hour before her death and that she seemed fine.
I'm so sad she's gone! I kept hearing she lost her voice from everyone and Im like no she didn't. She can't do her upper registry for the higher notes but her lower range was just fine and the shot of Whitney singing in the church proved it. So sad! We truly lost a great!

I worked at a resort condo, in Miami, Fla, during the 1980's. Whitney was a resident there. The staff loved Whitney and all of her family and friends. Whitney and I exchanged a wave and hello from one balcony to another and that was it. The staff that knew her personally said that she was the nicest celebrity they had ever had the pleasure of dealing with.I was honored to hear Whitney practice singing, inside her condo, as I stood just outside her door waiting for an elevator. In the end Whitney made her own chooses.Her mom protected & prepared her when she was young and didn't allow her to sing until she was around 18.She had to eventually make her own chooses, both Whitney and Bobbie influenced each in the drug abuse.There have been plenty of celebrity's(Robert Downey jr, Mary j Blige) who have gone through drug abuse, rejection,blacklisted and still came on top.They have to believe who they are, what they have is worth saving.

I worked at a resort condo, in Miami, Fla, during the 1980's. Whitney was a resident there. The staff loved Whitney and all of her family and friends. Whitney and I exchanged a wave and hello from one balcony to another and that was it. The staff that knew her personally said that she was the nicest celebrity they had ever had the pleasure of dealing with.I was honored to hear Whitney practice singing, inside her condo, as I stood just outside her door waiting for an elevator. She 100% class!

I'm so proud of Whitney. HERBLANDZ: Well she did say in her interview with Access Hollywood that Aaliyah was supposed to do it a decade agao but the project was scrapped after Aaliyah's death. Aaliyah really wanted to do this role, but like Whitney said, it wasn't meant to be (those weren't her exact words). I'm so happy that Whitney is back to show the world that she's still got it. She did very good with her performance. She was so beautiful. She looked alot better. She had everyone in a trance. It was like a free concert. We all stood up and was cheering. It was like we were really having church and the preacher said something to make the congregation shout but instead it was Whitney's singing that had us on the edge of our seats.

@derricksinger Jordin Sparks said that Whitney's performance in the Church was amazing and that it moved her and everyone else to tears. Gospel music is Whitney's roots and it always brings out the best in her. Obviously her voice has changed, but the feeling she transmits through it is one of the characteristics that makes her unique as a vocalist.
