  • Hmmm... Someone's got a fetish.

  • secure is wrong. baby is confident that mother will return and is almost unfazed when mother leaves.

  • @tigerjames29 no secure is right. the baby will get stressed and search for their primary attachment figure, when the parent returns the infant is almost immediately comforted and goes back to playing.

  • he probly lost a bet

  • Who else is watching this before their development psychology exam?

  • jajajaja que culi

  • Oh my gosh...this video has been view over 80,000 times. Who knew the dumbest video ever made could be viewed so many times! There must be a shortage of videos on this theory! There was alot of hating on it, just laugh everyone! Everyone at my university had to take this class to graduate no matter what major and it was supposed to be stupid, that was part of the assignment! It isn't called the strange situation for nothing! But now that I'm older I've certainly learned this theory is accurate!

  • i liked this coss its fucking hilarious.

  • @LucieMarieRudge nnooooooooo rudge its creepy :/

  • @TheMrDannyJ haha i found it amusing. btw, isnt it wrong? theres insecure-avoidant, secure and insecure resistant.. there not in this, w.e :'D

  • I don't see any point to why anyone would find this necessary to do. It is no replica to Ainsworths' work. Some stupid people out there.

  • can the other one be my mommy :0

  • hahaha vodka... that would make me a happy baby lol

  • Yet another reason I hate going to a community college.

  • That's...scary...

  • THIS IS COMPLETELY POINTLESS BUT SO SO SO FUNNY :)

  • This is slightly disturbing...

  • you having a fucking laugh mug

  • what a f ing cunt

  • This video is really pitiful. Think again, is a idiot video.

  • There is no reason for this. Its just piss

  • Having studied psychology a little myself, this was great to watch, and funny. I wasn't expecting to see such a big "baby." LOL

  • Crap. Awkward. Wrong. Not funny.

  • WTF? this isn't helpful at all, you people are messing up MY psychology project...amusing though. I wonder what would happen if we did this at Clark...

  • Hate to say it, but your interpretation is wrong. Every child did cry when the mom got out of the room.

The behavior differs when mommy comes back!

  • @mishamaus WRONG! the resistant just didnt care, get your facts right kid

  • @XtremlyRandom

I wouldnt believe to wikipedia or wherever youve got your information from.

I am studying psycholgy and when you read Ainsworth you will find that every child got distressed by the abscence of its mom!

Believe it or not - kid -

  • @mishamaus when i finished my a LEVEL me and 2 friends met ainsworth and we spoke to her about it. thats how i know.

  • @XtremlyRandom

Pretty cool, pity you didnt listen well enough. Just read her journal and you will know, EVERY child got distressed by the abscence of its mom but there were three types of reaction when mom got back!

  • i think its insecure avoidant the child couldnt car less when the mother left correct me if im wrong

  • @mishamaus I study Psychology and i'm afraid that xtremlyrandom is right. The Insecure avoidant children don't care when the mother goes.

  • loving the toilet roll diaper :P

  • LOOOOL. Awesomeeee! Definitely gonna help me remember the Strange Situation episodes for my exam :D Awesome, thank you!

  • seriously, get a life!

  • I hope you did all of them at some point...especially the "stranger". HA!

  • Haha. That's kinda disturbing....

  • WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?! Ò.ó

  • save this shite for redtube!

  • this is very disturbing and wrong

  • Great work guys !

but there are some inaccuracies in the action the baby takes:

Secure - bonds with the stranger but prefers his mother, when she leaves he is somewhat comforted by the stranger but he still wants his mother, walks to the door and shows signs of looking for his mother. when she comes back he shortly holds her and goes on exploring/playing

  • why didn't you do the preoccupied style?

  • Girls, why waste your time? Why waste our time? Even the waste of bits and bytes is a shame. Do you have the slight idea that this video is not funny and not interesting. If anything, it's just embarrassing and pointless web pollution.

  • This isn't a pointless web pollution, I bet you haven't even taken a child development psychology class....They're just a demonstrating the 4 types of attachments between the parent and a child: "Secured attachment, Ambivalent attachment, Avoidant attachment, and Disoriented attachment". I think the video is pretty cute. =3

  • this is disgusting

  • just thinking that

  • ur an idiot

  • At 0:46 I thought he was going to stab himself in the head...

  • twat...

  • i think that your a prick

  • that was SO funny!

i think i'll send a link to my prof.!!

    :D

  • Haha! Imagine if toddlers actually had facial hair!

  • very funny and true liked it very much

  • brilliant loved it
