These truckers have the right idea, but they can't do this alone. It's time for ALL Americans to go on strike.

If every worker in this country stayed home for 2 weeks, politicians would be forced to take this situation seriously and do something about it. Would it hurt the economy? Hell yes. In fact it would create a "redistribution of wealth" that would turn the tables on the uber rich once and for all. Corporations would lose, and small business would once again rule in this country.

no offense to mexicans, but bush has pushed and passed some pilot program to allow mexican truckers to transport in the US. basically like migrant workers in the fields you will have migrant truckers. and guess what they are going to work for less than these protesting truckers and im sure they will work for so cheap the cost of fuel wont matter. these protesting truckers will be out of work in my opinion before too long.

This isn't a new program...and though I am not of Mexican origin, starting a sentence with "no offense to ..." automatically raises the idea that someone will be offended. I am sure that many who live and work in the U.S.A. are enraged about the high prices of oil and gas. I think the entire point of the convoy is to say "united we stand..divided we fall". This is a war that we,as consumers,need to wage. Thanks for being open minded about this comment.
