Man watching this again REALLY makes me wish I had had better editing software (and better hardware) when I made it.
No, you have to get some kind of DVD ripping software. But it won't always work because it depends on the specifications of your hardware. There's a lot that goes into it that I don't even understand. Sometimes the ripper will work on one DVD but not another. Sometimes you won't get sound, or the frames will skip every ten seconds. It's such an annoying system of trial and error that sometimes (very rarely) I'm glad I can't make these videos anymore. It's frustrating and complicated.
