  • I competed with her 5 years ago in an elite meet, she was fantastic then, I knew back then she would be considered for the 08 olympic team. I was so amazed by her, and still am!

  • I must say when I first saw Shayla a few years back, I thought she would be one of the many girls the US produced that never met her full potential. THANK GOD I was wrong. Shes an AMAZING addition to our team and I am SO happy to see her doing so well. With Shawn, Nastia, Shayla, and Alicia on the team in '08, I think we are guaranteed a top two finish.
