@calipsoipod225 If attempting a classic force with a choice of FOUR card scares the bejeezus out of you, just stack your whole deck in groups of four. Cut the deck at the place they select and you now have the matches for their card on the top and bottom. A little peeking and you should be able to figure out where they are. Adjust your shuffle-off technique accordingly.

I'd say pair up all of the cards, all of the aces, 2s, 3s,4s etc...(they don't have to be in order) then when you spread them out, visualize each set of four that you spread out until the card they take, then do the trick using the set of 4 that they took their card from. It may not be very easy to preform, but it's one way to ensure that they take the right card, because every card will work.

most of the time you can force a card on someone if you spread them out before you offer ... then when you offer slightly push one of them forward with your thumb as you move the pile toward the participant.

try some false shuffles or "shuffle" the deck and tell them to pick up the bottom or top card, which you forced to be the 1 of 4 cards, in this case the 9s

One time I was just placing out card going 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 and putting a cap on ones that didn't have any matches, see one of mismag822's videos, and the only 3 cards that were left were the three 9's and what's so weird is that if you multiply 9x3 it = 27 and 2+7= 9!!!!

If they don't choose the 9, go into another trick that involves the picking a card, and try again later. It's good to have a backup trick

Correct. You always need a backup trick where possible. They don't know what you're planning to do, so just move on and have a trick ready.
